Clarion hotels are usually hit or miss kinds of hotels. Some I have visited are marvelous and very well kept, some unfortunately leave a lot to be desired. I have always thought of this company as that top tier of budget hotel. What I found in Stuart, Florida was a Clarion that was almost a luxury hotel! The amount of customer service was superb all across the board, maintenance and cleanliness was second to none, and amenities were all present including a tiki bar located next to the spacious pool area and a great little bar inside the property that provided a night atmosphere that was refreshing for this type of hotel.
The only thing that I would mention is that the property is old, as well kept as it may be the rooms are just beginning to show their age and I do not know if brand new mattresses and plush pillow tops really can counter the effects of aging walls and out of style windows. I am not a fan of the full window for it leaks privacy from the side curtains. The location was very centralized and there were certainly many options when it came to late night eateries. Parking was a bit difficult due to the high amount of traffic with dancers going to the "Jilly's" dinner and dancing establishment located inside the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a host making fresh waffles and real eggs on hand to be served as well as sausage links. We were given all types of snacks upon arrival and throughout our stay to ensure our comfort and best stay possible. I thought there could have been a couple more wastebaskets in the room, I only found one in the bathroom and one near the door but none by the desk or sink area. I also thought the towel rack should be by the sink not all the way in the bathroom.
This Clarion was really nice and it shows they have recently painted and remodeled with fresh colors and clean new furniture. Notice how there is not much to say when all the right things are being done, if you can manage to end up here for a night or two you will be certain to enjoy your Stuart getaway staying this hotel. For a Clarion it is definitely a step above the rest!

We reserved 4 rooms for a family birthday and couldn't have been happier with our selection. For around $65 a night ($89 for a 2 room suite w/ 2 bathrooms) we got clean rooms in a great location with a fantastic hot breakfast (the breakfast cook is great, definitely added to our experience). I can't imagine getting better value or service (everyone working there was incredibly nice and very helpful) than the Clarion.

We do trade shows on the road and whenever we need to be in this area, we always choose The Clarion. The staff is fantastic and the convenience of food and drink on the property makes it great.

We have stayed at the Clarion ( & before that when it was a Ramada property) for the past 4 years.The staff , starting with Cherie at the front desk, & including Violeta, the Head of Housekeeping services & of course, Diego, the "Waffle Man" have made us feel so welcomed & well taken care of each visit.Any request we have ever made has been promptly responded to, including driving directions to local attractions & this last visit Cherie printed out a list of accommodations nearer to the West Palm Beach airport, necessary due to our early morning flight. Believe me, we'd rather have stayed on in Stuart...
The rooms are clean ,comfortable & quiet - especially nice on the poolside.Rates are reasonable, given that it's the high season.We'll be back again next year !
