The resort overall is nice, and very spacious in our unit, but our location had a terrible mold problem just outside. Three of the five of us had allergy problems by the end of the week. The resort was damaged by Hurricane Charley in 2004 and was just having the siding on our wing ripped off and repaired--18 months later. Our unit (108) was on the first floor, on the shady side of the building. The walkway to our unit never got direct sunlight, so the smell of mold was terrible.
On our last night there, New Year's Eve, there was a fire alarm (fortunately false) that went off in the early morning for hours. The fire dept. had no key to turn it off (as they had requested from the management) and none of the numbers they had for the resort staff reached anyone who could come shut it off.
The resort has many good features, but it needs to be managed in a more hands-on fashion, taking care of problems quickly.
