My in-laws are Blue Green owners, and my husband and I spent a week with them in a 2 bedroom unit in Building 6. It was very empty and quiet during the first week of January. We spent a good amount of time relaxing at the resort, and also traveled to historic St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach for some sightseeing and eating out.

Pros:
- Large unit with almost everything you need to cook, and a super nice Publix grocery store just a few miles down the road. We made many of our dinners using the outdoor grills (awesome!) and kitchen.
- Convenient location off I-95. (Not as fun as staying near the beach, though.)
- Heated pool, so we could swim in January.
- Our washing machine was severely off balance, and they repaired it immediately when we called.
- Very nice tennis courts.
- View of the beautiful golf course from our balcony.
- A short walk to the World Golf Hall of Fame, store, and Caddy Shack restaurant.
- Excellent gym with LifeFitness equipment. I was impressed by the quality!
- TV with DVD player & free internet access if you are an AT&T internet customer.
- Comfortable mattress. We slept very well.

Cons:
- Something in the machine room in building six made a terribly loud, scary noise. We were told it was the generator, but no other building sounded like that. Luckily it did not impact our sleep very much.
- The outside hallways smell like gas, which is from the hot water heaters. Luckily we did not smell this in the unit.
- Sheets and towels are a bit thin and rough.
- Hot tub was closed for maintenance. Probably the best time of year for them to do it, though.

Overall, a fun and enjoyable vacation! :)

My family has been staying at Blue Green properties for almost six years now, and this one is one of the few that we've returned to for a second time.

We were surprised to see the property so busy since we stayed over Christmas, but the place was hopping. The staff was helpful and accommodating and although we didn't get the chance to indulge in any of the resorts activities this time, the list was extensive and looked to be fun.

The rooms were clean, if not just a little worn in the carpet areas.

There are a lot of great things I could write about our stay here, but I have neither the time, nor the energy.

This is one of my wife and I's favorite Bluegreen resorts we are owners and have stayed here multiple times. Every time has been great. Very nice suite/villas friendly staff very nice amenities. Always very clean. Parking during the summer months can be a challenge. . I have taken my elderly parents with us as well and they were very comfortable. I have a son in the Navy at Jacksonville it makes this very convenient as it is not so close we infringe on them and close as 25 minute drive to their house. Close enough to beaches yet far away from the hassle on the beach.

We stayed at the Grande Villas at WGV because we are Bluegreen owners. We'd never stayed here before and were impressed with the accommodations-- the suites are beautiful! The staff was helpful and friendly. The walls, however, were quite thin and it just so happened that there were a lot of travelers with young children staying around us. It didn't cut in on our sleep or anything, but it was kind of distracting in the morning when we wanted to sleep in a bit. I suppose one could ask for a room away from families if one wanted a quiet get-away... that's the only negative thing I can say-- and I'm sure it also depends on what time of the year one stays there. In any case, the room was beautifully done and we were happy with our stay.
