“Tops in Pleasing the Customer”

While staying at this Holiday Inn we experienced excellent service from several employees that responded to our every need. Beth in Housekeeping responded first to a need and then we had future conversations with her about the business. She is a loyal worker. With Melba the food quality was excellent and again the personality and conversation so very pleasant also.
Tracy also was an excellent communicator at the front desk. When we requested a restaurant that used fresh ingredients and not packaged, she was not hesitant. A place she chooses for her needs when she leaves work.

This was located in an area where we met friends and family. We would stay here again. This was our second visit to this hotel in one year. First time we were not as needy, but through circumstances this time, we were definitely well taken care of.

I would like to say Thank You for staying with us. I am pleased that all of the staff was accommodating to your needs. I have extended your thanks to Beth and Melba. If your travels bring you to the area again please let us show you all the new improvements we are doing to the hotel including new 37" flat screen TV's along with all the same friendly staff.

“Wonderful place - great staff - squeaky clean - very comfortable”

I stay in hotels at least 100 days out of the year. I can say that there is not another hotel where the staff is nicer and willing to do anything to make one's stay comfortable. The hotel is reasonably priced and squeaky clean. Additionally, it includes a very nice and plentiful breakfast. The lady in charge of the breakfast is very friendly and fastidious about the cleanliness of the eating area. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Port Charlotte, FL.

“Trop Rockers & Parrot Heads.. This is the place for you!”

Those of you who know what a Trop Rock fan or Parrod Head is will instantly understand what I mean... for tose others I will make it simple: South West Florida is a mecca for this music genre. Think Jimmy Buffett, Island Style Music Meets elements of Gulf Western Country with an occasional Reggae twist. The music scene in this area is top notch if this type of music is appealing to you. The Holiday Inn Express, which I have stayed at several times, is located VERY CLOSE to the countries NUMBER ONE Rated Trop Rock Live Music Venue- The Nav-A-Gator Bar & Grille. The hotel is clean, welcoming and if you are on vacation here in SW Florida,.. it FEELS LIKE you are on vacation. Palm trees and scenic property and one of the cutest & fun pools in the area. Staff is friendly and the morning breakfast is just perfect for starting your day.

“FRIENDLY, CLEAN AND COMFY”

The staff was best I've ever experienced. The place was clean as can be. The free breakfast from 6 - 9:30 is cereals, pancakes, fruit, rolls, doughnuts, coffee, milk, juice and really good hot cinnamon rolls. The rooms have an iron & board, hair dryer, soap, shampoo & conditioner, lotion. Also there is a fridge, microwave and coffee in the room. Of course TV with local cable and your basic channels. High end satellite or premium channels limited to one HBO. Overall, for the cost, I will be staying there again.

Room Tip: Room 216 is right at the elevator, although I did not stay in that room. JOHN C

“Quick Overnighter”

I was in town for a party and didn't want to drive home so stayed at the HIE. LOVE this place! The staff is always friendly and so very helpful. I have stayed here many times over the years and recommend it to anyone heading Pt.Charlotte way...even if it is slightly further away from whatever event they are down for. It's worth a little extra drive!
