“Beautiful Beach!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2007

I have to say that overall the condos were beautiful. We stayed in the Indo east and my aunt and uncle stayed in the Indigo west. The condos are located right on the beach. The pool was excellent after a long day in the sun. I enjoyed the private entrance to the condo. The elevators were never full do the limited access. Check out time is 10am and check in time is 3p. There is not a lot of time to clean a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo. The floor in our condo was all tile. When we arrived and walked in, we could still feel sand from the previous renters. My aunt and uncle had to have their carpets recleaned because they were so dirty. After the first night their socks were black. My sisters bed didn't have a sheet on it when we arrived. Overall the condo was perfect. My sister fit my nieces crib inside the closet of the second bedroom. There was never a parking problem. They would run out of chairs around the pool very. We left our tent out in the beach for three nights and it was never a problem. The people are very trusting. We did encounter a problem towards the end of our stay. The power went out on Thursday night. We it came back on the elevators and the water didn't work. It didn't take very long for the water to return, but we had to walk up 12 flights of stairs with 2 small children. My parents waited until midnight downstairs before they finally made the 12 story climb. We had to use the service elevators until we left on saturday because the main elevators never started working. I think that this was a freak incident. As long as you have power, I highly recomend!

“Great quiet family vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 April 2007

We stayed at the Indigo in Perdido Key from March 31st - April 7th. We stayed in a 3 bedroom in the West tower (#703). The condo was huge
and very nice. We stayed with our 3 children (ages 1, 3 and 5) along with my parents. Each bedroom with their own bathroom was great and our 1 year old fit perfect in a Pack-n-Play in the master bedroom walk-in closet.

The elevator took you directly to your door and we never had to share
the elevator or stop at another floor. There was a service hallway which had another entrance to the condo. This was a great spot to store our stroller, beach toys, beach chairs, cooler, etc.

Maintenance was very quick to respond when we arrived and our AC wasn't working. A blown fuse was fixed within the hour.

The large lagoon pool was great but too cold most of the time the week we were there. The smaller heated pool and jacuzzi is where most
of the people (and our kids) spent their time. Lounge chairs were taken quickly on nice days.

The beach was great and we used the beach service (2 chairs and umbrella) a few days. It was $20 per day for renters and $10 per day for owners.

We rented through Perdido Realty and they were great by letting us in
to the condo earlier than our 3pm check-in time because no one had the condo the week before us (and we had arrived at 9am after driving all night with small children). The only bad part (which they
never told us) was that they keys they issue (which said Meyer) did not unlock the facilities such as the bathrooms in the lobby of the West tower, fitness room, mail room, etc. One card key also stopped working half way through the trip so we used our service door key the
remainder of the time. You also need to be sure to get your armbands at check in. People around the pool were checking to be sure guests had these on.

The whole area was very quiet for spring break and was not as croweded as more popular areas. There didn't seem to be as many shops
/restaurants nearby but everywhere we ate was good and we never had to wait for a table.
