“Horriable Resort!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

This resort was so unkept. The rooms were nasty and not cleaned properly. The decor of condo w 609 was from 1980! The kitchen was not even equipt enough to cook breakfast in and the wall paper was peeling off the wall in several places. When we checked in the front desk they said we were getting an up grade....well it was more like a down grade! Now lets talk about the beds....I think the floor would have been a little softer and more comfortable. This condo was so bad we left a day early. The only thing that was positive about this place was the spa( Which was independent of the resort)...Sarah gives a wonderful facial and Brenda a excellent and relaxing massage which I needed after sleeping on the uncomfortable bed. The pool area looked as though the chairs and tables had never been wiped down. There was bird mess on most all the chairs and the other ones had mildew on them! This was the worst resort I have ever stayed at and will never return!!!

Room Tip: This room was out of date and dirty! The bed were so uncomfortable!

“Paradise in Perdido, nothing compares!!!”

We stayed in E 301. This unit looks like a decorator created it. It is gorgeous! The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and is well stocked with everything that you need. The view is just above the palm trees around the pool, which is perfect. It is close to everything. One of our friends is handicapped, and he was able to get around with no problem. The staff at Eden is the friendliest that I've ever encountered, and the amenities are the best. It's also nice to have an onsite spa. Been coming to Perdido for 30 years, and I won't stay anywhere else ever again.

“Great spot, even when pretty packed for Memorial day weekend.”

It was our first stay in Perdido/Orange Beach in many years, and we wanted to do our fair share for the area businesses, hoping that they don't get hit by the spill. We stayed in E305. It was very clean and tastefully decorated as well as spacious; perfect for the three of us (3 yr. old in tow as well). The pull out couch was pretty miserable for adults, but just fine for kids. Great view from the spacious balcony as well, it was fun to eat outside. I'd stock a few basics before you arrive, for example our place was missing dish soap and extra paper towels as well as trash bags, and only had some spare hotel-like bathroom supplies. I didn't know if we had neighbors, but if we did, i couldn't hear them.

The building location is also nice in that it borders a national park with no other condos to the east, making the views awesome and hikes along the shore very private. Quality food choices are lacking in the area, and making the trek on a Saturday night across Flora-Bama bar traffic was a mistake. The Crab Shack was good but insanely packed even at 5PM as it's one of the better restaurants on the FL side.

There were plenty of people there over the long weekend but the club seemed to do a good job absorbing us all. The outdoor pool, with its cool and powerful waterfalls, was never very packed, though the early birds got out there and staked the prime lounge chairs for pretty much the whole day. Also, don't expect an extreme degree of romance/privacy poolside or even on the beach in the immediate vicinity of the pay per use beach chairs. It's very easy to escape the condo crowd however. The beach was great, no oil that i could spot, though I just heard reports from Dauphin Island that they are getting some oil.

The beach was great - I coughed up the $25 for two chairs and an umbrella for the day out of laziness, though you could easily bring your own setup as well. It was easy enough to walk back up to the condo for lunch or just to get out of the sun for a bit.

We didn't use any of the other features, just the pools and the beach, but we were very satisfied with the building and our condo specifically, as well as the very friendly staff, even the night security who let us in, as well as many others, on this busy weekend.

At around $250 a night (plus a $100 one-time 'cleaning fee'?) it wasn't the cheapest out there by any means, but it was a busy weekend and the whole establishment and amenities were pretty top-notch, I can definitely recommend it.

“Relaxing and comfortable with a most friendly atmosphere and great food in either direction.”

The service was prompt, professional and very courteous. The living area was very large, comfortable, uptodate and extremely clean. The location is perfect, not busy with heavy traffic or noise. The best thing I liked was the beautiful sunshine, white beaches and clean ocean. The pool was very refreshing anytime of the day and I could always find a chair at the beach or the pool to read my novel. This is truly a hidden gem and peice of paradise.

“Wow E 400”

It was our First trip to Eden, we have always stayed at other units
but never at Eden. We finally wanted to see what all the hype was and found a Great deal
at a Local Rental company called Tern key Rentals. Our agent Colleen was the most pleasant person we have ever met and very hospitable.
She was able to get us into an Eden Unit E-400 and it was super nice.
Granite countertops through out with Stainless appliances, full gulf view and very quiet and peaceful.
The bed was comfortable for us if you like a semi firm mattress and cute beach decor.
The kids loved thier room with the bright colors and pictures.

We will definately be coming back to Eden and trying for that same Unit.
