This is the kind of place that appeals to me when I'm traveling on business..comfortable, clean and quiet.
Room was well-maintained..no funny smell or musty feel. The air conditioner worked the way it should...I was able to get the room to a reasonable temperature (not freezing..not broiling) without constantly having to adjust the thermostat. Perfect.
The bed was comfortable and the linens looked very fresh..in fact, everything in the room felt/looked very clean..nothing "roachy". TV reception was good and the channel selection is above average for a business class hotel. WIndow and door locks are tight...another big plus. Everything felt safe and secure. The staff was friendly and helpful..check-in/check-out was hassle-free.
Now..for the downside...standard rooms don't include microwaves or refridgerators (NOT ideal, if you are traveling with kids), there's no gym and the pool is so small it looks like an afterthought. Not really kid-friendly.
I have stayed at this hotel many times during business trips and have always received a clean, comfortable room. This time was no exception. But, if I had my family with me..I would stay probably stay elsewhere.

I've enjoyed the quiteness. very lovely breakfast but...when it came down to an work out to relax...I had to drive 3miles to an gym they(F-M) appointed. oh that was an turn off. I also wished I'd stressed that I needed that micro-fridge. NO.my room didn't come with one. Oh Marriot got me on that. As I mentioned,it was very to easy to get around the area. the road led right back the the hotel. Thanks. A must that they do something about an on grounds gym!!!! PLEASE. I may even consider changing my mini-winter-getta-way trip to Pensacola.

I stayed here with family a few weeks ago for one night and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel given the location and room rate. The beds were very comfortable, the service was fine and the breakfast in the morning (waffles, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc.) was decent (very helpful attendant!). Only complaint--the hotel charges you more than the room rate as a way to cover incidentals but then backs out the charge once you check out. Very confusing as I thought I was being overcharged. But overall, a pleasant stay.

We booked this stay in advance for our drive from Orlando to Houston. The room was just average - as a gold elite member of Marriott Rewards, I would say the room and facilities are below the Marriott standard. There was no 'wow factor'. The hotel is conveniently near I-10 in Pensacola. The parking lot and check in area are tiny. making parking the first impression more like Best Western and less like Marriott. We were checked in by Larry and the process was very smooth and efficient. There is a small indoor pool at the far end of the front desk area. The rooms were very clean but dated. It had the hunter green carpet with beige cross hatching you see everywhere in mid level hotels.We found the beds to be on the hard side. Breakfast featured the usual selection of continental items, withe the addition of the waffle station. It was just there but all we needed to get through to lunch. The lady GM helped serve our kids and like Larry, asked what brought us to Pensacola and where we were from. Overall, the hotel room was clean and spacious and the service was top notch. Overall this hotel would be a 3, but I'll give it a 4 for cleanliness and for the level of hotel in this town, it is probably better than most.
