“Only missing the Beach”

This is a great hotel. It is small, quaint, with a friendly staff and fun activities. The units have full kitchens and a washer/dryer, as do all Marriott Club villas. There are grills you can use, a putt putt course, corn hole, and of course an awesome golf course right there. The ONLY thing you'll miss is the beach itself. Bay Point is just that, it is the point of the BAY, which does not include a beach. You have to drive across the bridge to go to the beach. St. Andrews park has a pristine, unpolluted beach but you have to bring EVERYTHING you need, cause you are pretty much roughing it. Camping so to speak. If you want amenities, I recommend Pier Park, which is up the road about 6 miles but is next to many hotels/souvenir shops, etc.

If you can handle just hanging at the pool in a relaxed setting, this is the place. Some people come back here year after year--the most fun for me was talking to some interesting people. And you cannot beat the $11 dolphin sunset sail with Cptn Hal. You WILL see dolphins. They offer this tour through the Marriott, so check with concierge.

“Home Away from Home”

Legends Edge is my my home time share with MVCI. Our stay this week has been wonderful. Our villa is spacious & well maintained, with a view of the Lagoon. The staff could not be more friendly & professional and contacted us before we arrived to inquire if there were any of our needs to be met in advance of our arrival. I'd highly recommend this establishment.

Room Tip: Request either Villa 1601 or 2607.

This timeshare resort is on a spit of land surrounded by bay. No beach, but it is only a 10 minute drive to St. Andrews Park. Our room was very comfortable for four adults. We had some minor problems with electricity and plumbing, which were promptly addressed. Staff was pleasant and we enjoyed the complementary wine and cheese they had hosted one evening.

They could use some policing of the pool. One morning we watched some woman spread towels over 14 chairs in the small pool area. Another morning someone “saved” about 8 chairs in the morning, which were not used by anyone all day. We also observed smoking and glass bottles used there.

I was concerned about the lack of beach access, but we had such a great time we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Room Tip: If you like afternoon sun, ask for the Bluebelle building. The screened balconies there are larger...

We have been to 9 different Marriott properties in the US. This property is clean, well maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly. If you could move all of the above out of Panama City, it would be a really nice place to visit. We traveled 45 minutes each day to SeaSide, FL to enjoy the beach, restaurants, and a safe environment to walk at night. This resort also did not offer much for dining except for a nice little bar at the marina. It looked like Marriott just plopped a couple buildings in a golf course area and called it a Vacation spot...
Sorry, we won't be back since there are so many other places to stay.

“Beautiful location”

Location was beautiful, but getting to it was through densely developed area. Staff was terrific and changed my room at my request without any difficulty. Rooms were clean, but not quite up to par. Food was good at both the inside bar and at Lime's. You must take the ferry to the beach with it's beautiful white sand. Sunsets are outstanding.
