I reserved 2 non-smoking rooms receiving confirmation of my request but when we arrived we were informed that there were none available & that we were only guaranteed the rooms .I feel that as a non-smoker i have a right to be in a non smoking enviroment just as a smoker has his preference. The clerk on duty did offer to cancel my reservation but 4pm on a saturday was a little too late to find another hotel. The rooms reeked of smoke & leaving the doors open did little to clear the rooms of smoke. After a sleeplees nite due to the smell of smoke i spoke to the manager as we checked out voicing my dissatisfaction of the accomendations,he informed me that the clerk on duty the night before was correct regarding the policy of only reserving rooms but not guaranteeding preference which i consider poor policy. I will not recommend nor will i stay at a Knights Inn again
