On a recent night at the Red Roof Inn on US 19 in Palm Harbor, north of Clearwater/St. Pete we experienced hair and dirt particles in the bed suggesting that the sheets had not been changed. Altho the "front desk staff" immediately brought a change of sheets, we then found that the mattress pad had been stained with urine, and altho the pad'd been washed, it was still Yuchie!

Our original room had bedbug so we asked to be moved far from that room. The room they put us in next was never cleaned and when I called to let them know the lady told me that she couldn't do anything until morning. We had to go to the store and buy disinfecting spray, cleaners and air fresheners. When we got back to the room I noticed animal feces on the floor by the Air conditioner and I was still told they couldn't do anything for me. Being that they already charged us we didn't have the money to go somewhere else. House keeping didn't understand english and they never changed the sheets on the bed.
I will never go here again. I hope they get shut down!!!

This place isn't as bad as the reviews I read. I was hesitant to stay there but the prices were better than anyone else in the area. Rooms were clean, bathroom was clean which was mire than enough for me. I'll definitely stay again when I'm in the area next

I don't care if a room is $10, if clean & decent towels are not provided they should be shut down asap. This was a disgraceful place to lay our heads even just for one night. My husband had to fix their toilet, if you can imagine, upon our arrival. Everything was gross. The only reason we stayed there was because pets are allowed. Well, most pet owners and pets are not pigs and deserve FAR better. Red Roof is off our list forever.
