We had 3 nights in Orlando before a cruise. We were told this resort was in a very good location. The room was nice but we had one that was facing the carpark and had a problem getting to sleep, very noisy. Beds were nice and comfortable.

We planned on shopping one day and spending the rest of the time relaxing at the pool, and at the waterpark. Waterpark was closed on the first day as our flight was kind of late. We spent the 2nd day shopping. I-Ride Trolley stop right outside the resort. On our last day we got dressed to go to the waterpark, only to find out it was closed, really disappointing as we were really looking forward to it!

The Resort has Free internet access, attraction tickets for sale, and it is a good central location on International Drive. But we booked this resort only because of the Water park. Seeing as to it was closed, we didn't really have much choice but to leave the resort as there is nothing else to do. Wouldn't return again, next time we will stay at a larger resort with more to do.

We had a great time and it was reasonably priced! Lifeguards everywhere! Slides were great and splash area for little ones was fun! Less then half the price of wet n wild.

I would have had nothing but great things to say about the resort, until I discovered a blood-like stain on my white comforter 9on the side turned down touching my skin). So I could not sleep on the cover and I left a note for the housekeeper the following day. I stayed February 4th in the 8000 building, on the opposite side of the Water Park.

Two and three quarter stars for The Room:
Overall, the room was spacious and clean, on the surface. I am being as forgiving as I can about the nasty cover because I booked at a good rate that included 4 water park passes and resort fee waived (had I paid full price, I would not be so forgiving and would have made a big fuss about the covers). My daughter loved the beach ball pillows on the bed. The room a mini fridge, flat screen TV, safe, large vanity area, good sized bathroom. Outside was average of a 3 star hotel.

Four stars for the amenities:
I will say that I greatly enjoyed my stay at CoCo Key overall. The "resort' has good amenities ("quiet pool" for mature crowd, Pool cabanas, Spa, water park with lots of life guards on duty and slide for all ages, dinning areas with child eat free, free continental breakfast, Spacious arcade, pizza hut, Tiki Bar, etc). The rooms facing the water park are a great idea.

Five star for the location:
Right on International Drive, Across the street from Chuck E. Cheeses and right down the street from Fun Spot.

Four stars for the staff:
Everyone that I encountered was nice and friendly enough. the housekeeping staff obviously need a more keen eye for cleaning bed linens.

Will i go back?
Certainly, but I will be sure to stress the point to make sure that my covers and room are as clean as can be.

Coco Key was a nice place to stay. We were put up in the Tower building, very quiet, hallway smelt funny but over time we got used to it. Room was nice. The dresser was filthy on the outside with hand prints of the last occupant. We had to wipe it down. The shower head was broken, the nice gentleman came and fixed it for us. This time of season the food at hotel was only open for dinner. With the exception of the breakfast buffet. However I would have never paid for it. We got free tickets for buffet through booking our trip. Nice shops and food near by to walk to. Also water resort was only open Fri-Sun. Overall nice but next time we go back we will not stay there.
