great location if you are going to Universal. We took a taxi and it was cheaper than parking rate, plus it gets you right up close to the entrance instead of having a 3 mile hike to get to the parks. They have a shuttle in the day, but we went at night so we could drink responsibilly. Room was good, had a fridge, coffee maker and good size.

Breadfast was excellent I had a omlet , my wife had poach eggs and this was free as part of there free breadfast.
Room had mini refrig Bigand roomy.

Great hotel. Fantastic friendly staff. Knowledgable and smiling. Great service. Rooms were great and clean. Fairly spacious King room. Very Nice newly remodeled workout facility! Great hotel. WIll stay everytime Im in town. Whether for business or personal. Great ammen's and close to anything you can imagine.

We stayed here for four days during our trip to Universal Studios. The staff was quick and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot, fresh and there was plenty to choose from. The pool area was spotless and very relaxing. I would stay here again and again....

In all honesty, I was a little hesitant at staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. I am used to traveling for work and staying at 4 to 5 star hotels. But when I am spending my own money, I need to go with something less pricey. My husband and I needed a hotel for an impromptu trip to Universal. We chose this hotel because of their reasonable rates, free parking, free Universal shuttle, free wi-fi, and free breakfast. All other similarly priced hotels did not offer all of the before mentioned amenities.
I was really impressed by the service we received. Everyone was nice and went out of their way to be accommodating. They even allowed us to use an unused breakfast voucher for a friend from the day before. The hotel was very clean.
The only comment I will make about the hotel is that it seems a little outdated - but they make the best of the structure they have. The breakfast was standard - but there was ample selection.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel as for a budget conscious family.
