We love this resort! The weather is always sketchy in December, but the hotel makes sure there are plenty of things to do! We had the best poolside server named Jill this year and she made our whole stay AWESOME!

The Hilton Grand Vacations on International Drive is a place of peace and relaxation surrounded by the non-stop pace of Mickey and all his theme park friends!

We had a Suite in Building 7 facing the lake and Main Hotel facility. Check in was a breeze and very welcoming, great start. The first night we had to park near reception but the security guard gave us a ride in the golf cart to our Building.

Our room was very spacious, with kitchenette and nice sized bathroom (Very Clean). We had a screened porch facing the lake. Take our advice, ask for a higher floor. We were on the 3rd, no way would we have wanted to be on the ground floor!!

Clean room with daily service that did a great job every day we were there. The beds are a bit soft, nice 32" TV, well lit.

Parking is limited but not a huge issue as everything within the compound is close. The "gated" resort is monitored at the vehilce entrance and card key controlled at the points facing the Outlet Mall.

The entire staff is very friendly and helpful always with a smile!!!

There is a grocery store across the street with everything you need. The pizza place on the compound is very good (try the Buffalo Chicken Sub). Many good eating establishments close by. Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom not more than 15 minutes away. On site deli and Starbucks worked well in the morning!!

We will stay again, as this is an oasis away from the theme park crazy and prepackaged "fun"

My wife and I stayed at this property for two nights (Jan. 26 and Jan. 27). We had a late flight into Orlando, and planned to get up early to go to The Magic Kingdom. When we arrived, check in was very easy. The parking is gated, and accessed either through using your room key card, or through the front gate, where security has to grant you access. When we checked in, Phil, the front desk agent was pleasant, and knowledgeable. He explained all of the amenities of the property, confirmed my special requests were taken care of, and directed me to the bellman who got us a shuttle to our building, Building #6 - Highly recommend this building. We had a 1 King Bed Suite. Mini fridge, microwave, sink. More than we truly needed for our short stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Large flat screen television, Large comfy chair, as well as a small table with two chairs, perfect for a small meal if you choose to eat in the room. There was also a decent sized screened in balcony with a plastic table and two chairs. The balcony on our room looked out onto the lake, as opposed to a room that might look out upon the Outlet Mall or parking lot. The room was very quiet.

The only issue that I will bring up is with parking. They have a main parking lot by the main lobby and building. There is also parking that goes around by each of the buildings (1-7), however there is only parking near the individual buildings for about 85% of guests if the property is fully booked, as it was when we stayed. The hotel does offer a shuttle to the main parking lot, however they have 2 different types of shuttles, and it seems to be luck of the draw. One is a 15 passenger van, the other is a 6 passenger golf cart. If it is raining, and they send the golf cart, prepare to be wet.

Hector, our shuttle driver was very nice, and did the best job he possibly could to dry the seats on the golf cart shuttle.

There is one outlet mall that you can access directly via your keycard and a shortcut through the parking lot. This is a good feature if you get back from theme parks early and want to do a little shopping. The overall area is very nice, completely safe, and fun for couples or family's alike. We did not use any of the amenities (pool, game room...), so I cannot comment on them.

If traveling to Orlando again, I would definitely consider staying here again!

My husband & I spent 2 nights here, prior to heading over to Port Canaveral for a 4-night cruise. I had called ahead of time to let the staff know that we would not be arriving until about 11pm, as we were taking an evening flight. *Side note* do not use CBC Transportation. We pre-paid for a 10pm pick-up at MCO airport and they never showed up. We ended up hailing a Mears cab and were a bit flustered when we showed up to the hotel. That feeling immediately dissipated after we received a warm welcome from the front desk clerk who gave us a quick run-down of what the resort had to offer and made us feel like first-class guests. Since we were checking in so late, there was no one else around; so unlike other reviews I've read, we were not solicited for time share. Another staff member shuttled us to our building & gave us a tour of the grounds and told us about outside amentities. He was super friendly and helpful as well. The facility is large. We were on the first floor of Bldg 7; a standard King suite. It was updated & meticulous. Publix grocery across the street closes at 11pm, but the Walgreens next door is open 24 hrs. We utilized both for breakfast, lunch, & snacks. We were never bothered by housekeeping; they came while we were gone. The lake in the center of the resort was perfect for walking/running around; each lap is 1/2 mile. We spent most of the day at the larger pool (there are 2); there were always plenty of lounge chairs available & the whole area was beautiful & clean. The bar & entertainment staff were great. Every person at the front desk was extremely friendly/helpful. Every time we needed transportation, they had someone there for us in less than 5 mins. We ate at the deli for lunch before we left for Port Canaveral and the food was fabulous. Overall, I felt as if we were staying at a 5-star resort and were treated like celebrities. Its a very quiet, low-key resort that is perfect if you would like privacy & relaxation. There were activities offered if you would like, but they did not interrupt those people that didn't want to participate. We only paid $98/night, which felt like a complete steal. Hands down, we'd come back and stay longer. Its location is only about 20 mins from MCO and so close to local attractions.
