Stayed last night for halloween horror nights with 2 other couples from south Florida. Upon returning to our hotel from Univeral HHN at 2:30 am there was no parking available due to about 4 different teen hotel parties that were going on. I happen to be a Westgate Owner and I pay 1500 in maintenance a year but still was told there was no parking and had to park our car across the street in an abandoned night club plaza. My friend (the Driver) says ok I am just going to drop you off at the building so the ladies do not have to walk. Security says thats fine but another security sees us heading toward the building and stands in front watching us get out. My friend says " Hey is there anyway I can get a parking here in the lot?" Security says no park over there and tells my friend to go .... yourself! (Cursing at him)! His girlfriend says there was no need for that language and Mohammed (security) says your friend cursed first but, in fact he did not! After security became volgar then he cursed back! Then we head up to our room to sleep and see him peeking into our car so we hit the alarm and he ran away. Meanwhile, theres a knock on the door and the rude security is with the police telling us we have to leave. For no reason over a parking spot! We were not hostile or rude in anyway and then when we asked for the manager there wasn't one. Cop said if I could prove I am an owner my friend could stay and the cop and security went down and said they couldn't find me in the system. Cops leave and I go down to the front desk and what do you know I magically appear in the system. One security guard says its up to the guard he had the altercation with and he says no he still can't stay! At that point we decide to all check out at 3:30 am. Meanwhile there are people smoking pot and drinking alcohol in the front of the building but they are not getting kicked out! Very rude and no customer service or help at all. We had witnesses and he didn't, but ,ultimately it is the Security God that rules! Never stay there again!!!!

Stayed here for 7 days. The room was very clean, the staff went out of their way to help us too. Beautiful swimming pool. This resort is close to everything. I'll come back for years to come.

just returned from the westgate and can honestly say it was brilliant! I was approached pretty quickly about timeshare and after a stern but polite refusal i thought i would be treated with disdain for the rest of the holiday but that wasnt the case the staff were very helpful throughout.The jewel in the crown is the rooms and with 3 kids we needed plenty of space which the rooms give you and everybody can chill in their own space with 3 40" televisions in each room and my wife was pleased with the washer dryer in apartment which meant fresh clothes all holiday the pool was great for the kids and location was excellent. All in all if you want a home from home this the place apartments and hotel very clean and seems well looked after and organised throughout. a lot of people i spoke to come back here year after year and i goto orlando again i would definately book here again.

We were not impressed. Very small rooms. Pretty dirty. Maid service did not even vacuum on our cleaning day. Mold in showers....pool was decent, but bar and grill were never open when we were there. they also did not have their hours stated.....except that they vary. There is a bar/nightclub across the street so if you stay do not settle for streetside or you'll be up all night on a Fri/Sat......also, it seems this resort also rents to young adults attending the bar across the street, so late night elevator rides can seem.....interesting......
