We decided to take a tour of this property. A palace it is not. It's in the middle of the tourist area which is cluttered. We were told to.arrive at 7:30 am for a 90 minute tour. Before we saw the property the sale had started. We were talked to about the offers for quite some time. To give you an idea of how long the sales person talked the tour took 15 minutes and we were there 3 hours not the 90 minutes we were told it would take. The property was 3 stars at best. The carpet was worn the walls were peeling and the salesperson even told us for the rooms they use minimal carpet so they don't have to replace it. The two bedroom suite was extremely small. The pool was smaller than a personal pool at someone's home. The great view we were told about included an uncared for lake across the street. Our parting gift was a $50 & $25 gift card. We went to dinner that night and to our embarrassment the $50 card was declined. After calling the card service number we found out it had a zero balance but was used nearly a month before we received it that day. Two trips later to westgate and standing there over an hour for some solution it was concluded that an employee had used the card to rent a Marriott room for personal use. We were not given anything for our gas or the amount of vacation spent there. We were given a replacement card after an hour of speaking to the person who issues the cards. I would never recommend this hotel for a nights stay or for the time share program.
