what an amazing place to visit and visitors young and old will be impressed with what it has to offer. Amazing attractions, great places to eat and all at a great price. Well worth a visit and definitly not one to miss out on when visiting orlando. Much better than disney and not as many waiting times and Q's for rides. Fantastic and cant wait to go back!!

This is my 3rd time in Orlando and Islands is still the craziest park. Every ride is wild and the free lockers at each one are super convenient. If you can only do one of the two parks do not waste your time with Universal. Islands is ten times better. Def wear sneakers or you run the risk of losing your shoes on one of the rides.

We had a fantastic day there and at Universal Studios (having spend over a week in the Disney parks) and it was fab until the Heavens opened about 6pm and we got absolutely soaked :-) We didnt get round all the rides as we ran our of time as we only had a one day ticket. We are going back in Dec 2012 and will be covering Universal, Islands of Adventure, Sea World etc this time so will discover more!!

Only spent a day here and had no kids with us so we pretty much saw and did everything we wanted in that time. Recommend getting there when they open so less people. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is great except the wand experience---long wait for a very short experience. You can buy a wand in the gift shop. Saw lots of kids with wands, capes and hats. "The Forbidden Journey" ride is not for everyone. I don't usually have motion sickness but this ride definitely gave it to me. My friend, however, went on it twice. In Toon Lagoon, the Bilge-Rat ride and Ripsaw Falls ride are both LOTS of fun and you WILL get WET unless you get a rain parka! Suess Landing---lots of Seuss stuff and a great gift shop. Jurassic Park---the River Adventure ride was closed. You need a child (36"-56") to go on the Pteranodon Flyers. Adults can't go without a child. The "Eighth Voyage of Sinbad" show---don't waste your time.
