I was extremely skeptical about this place after reading all of the iffy reviews on here. But what I have deduced after returning from a 4-night stay is that the people who wrote those reviews must have had expectations that exceed this price point. We paid $40/night and could not have been more pleased with the room, the space, the cleanliness, and the service we received here. The air conditioner was not working in the first room they assigned; however, this room was clean (believe me, I told my husband not to even take our stuff up until I checked this place out b/c I was so worried after reading reviews). We were moved, no kidding, within 5 minutes of placing the call downstairs that the air would not come on--and by a very very nice and courteous repairman. We were in room 212. It was clean, granite countertop in the bathroom. No, not top-of-the-line granite, but it was nice. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day when we returned from the theme parks. Breakfast was AMPLE (again, for $40/night, I can't even believe a hot breakfast is included). When we requested extra towels, again, they were brought up in minutes. Had to check out around 4am for a long drive back to NC, and there were to-go items for breakfast in the lobby--how nice! Water pressure was great in our room. And having the separate living room (and separate TV) with 3 kids was splendid. We did not spend a lot of time in the room. If you are going to Orlando and plan to be at the hotel a lot, then maybe this wouldn't be for you. But we went solely for DIsney, Discovery Cove, and Sea World, and we knew we would only be there at night and to sleep. The location cannot be beat. It's close to everything and tons of restaurants. I just can't say enough good things about our experience. Maybe it's b/c I had set my expectations so very low after being scared to death by the reviews on here. I mean, are people REALLY complaining about the quality of the bath products at this price point? Really? Or maybe it's b/c I understand what $40/night gets you and I don't expect The Four Seasons. I have stayed 5-star and 1-star, and this was a great experience for everyone. Have reasonable expectations and you will not be disappointed.
Room Tip: We were in room 212. If you aren't satisfied with your room, just ask for another. I'm sure...
