This is our 5th year here and they have the best value for the price. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We wouldn't consider staying anyplace else. We'll be back again next year.

stayed here again in may 2011 . opted for two bedroom with large balcony , only available on floor 10 . hotel has everything you could want while on international drive except a bar , but this isnt the be all and end all of things when you are in orlando as there is so much to do and see . back to the hotel , the apartments are quite spacious and have all you need when away from home. full kitchen bar a washing machine but the are a few machines and dryers on floor 5 of each building . main bed room has a walk in shower whilst kids room has two single beds and a bathroom . security is invisible but the doors require card entry and having stayed there fore five weeks never heard anyone complaing about touts which i have heard in other hotels on i drive . swimming pools are a good size ( both of them ) and there is an indoor pool that is open 24 hours . pools are never busy even in 2010 when we stayed there in july . breakfast was a bit poor , but adequate as you dont always have time for breakfast , lol .staff are very helpful when they get to know your face and are always looking to make things go smoothly . the enclave is on carrier drive and about 100 yards from i drive and all the american eateries you can imagine chillis ,olive garden , chigago uno , ponderosa , golden corral , etc ,,, food heaven . a few bars and pubs all selling pub grub make you welcome too . universal studios and islands of adventure are only five mins away so too is wetn wild . aquatica and sea world are 10 mins the other direction . disney parks are a short drive away .
to summarise i would cefinetley recommend this hotel as it is very central . car hire is not essential but definetley recommended to get a little further afield . 9.5 out of 10

I stayed at the Enclave Suites for two weeks back in May 2010. This review is based on a terraced resort suite.

So first of all the location of the hotel is fantastic it is situated on Carrier Drive which is just off of International Drive. There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. I'd highly recommend the TGI Friday's across the street the bar staff are incredibly friendly. You are about a 45 minute walk from Universal Studios or if you are driving less than 5 minutes.

Now onto the hotel itself the hotel has three swimming pools, tennis courts and a gym although I never used any of these. There is also a kind of food court ares which serves various fast foods. At the time for $15 you could purchase a cup and get unlimited soft drinks for the duration of your stay.

Now onto the room as I said at the beginning my review is based on a terraced resort suite. The room had one double bed and a fold out sofa bed with room for two people. As this trip was me and two friends this was perfect for us but families may want to opt for a room with two beds. The room itself wasn't as big as what I have had in other hotels but this really wasn't a problem. The room was perfectly clean and even had a fridge and a microwave which was perfect for keeping our beers cold.
The real stand out feature of this room was the terrace. It was huge complete with table and chairs, sun loungers and one hell of a view over the lake.

In summary this hotel is perfect for an Orlando theme park trip. It is a perfect base of operations with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area.

My husband & I stopped at the Enclave in a 2 bedroom suite in June last year & had a fab time. Our suite was spacious & kept clean & tidy by the cleaning staff. My husband had heard so much about this place as my friend & I had stopped here for 11 years on the trot (each year for a girly week away, sunbathing, shopping & eating - not necessarily in that order!)

Well, we made our 12th visit in September of last year & stayed in a suite in Block 1 on the sixth floor. The balcony on the room was massive & overlooked the lake. There are several reasons why we stop here:-

1. Balconies on the rooms. It's lovely to be able to sit out when you wake up in the morning & take your time to come round in the fresh air
2. We don't drive when we're in Orlando so being close to the trolley bus stops & the lynx stops is great
3. The pool areas at the Enclave are lovely & we spend many a happy hour (or 2!) soaking up the sun
4. The Enclave is local to TGI's, Chilli's & many other restaurants
5. The staff are friendly & helpful
6. Great taxi staff (Julia & Nixon - Hello to you both)
7. We feel safe here

& we look forward to booking our 13th year at the Enclave in the near future!
