“Level of service”

I have stayed at many quality resorts, however I must say that NO one has ever surpassed the service that I have received from the Hilton. I would especially like to acknowledge the very personable and competent individuals at the front check in counter. Rooms were very clean with nice appointments. I would highly recommend this resort

“Nice place, great pool area”

Room was comfortable but standard. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Most impressive is the outdoor space: pools, hot tubs, lazy rivers, and cabanas. Only disappointment was with the breakfast buffet: $17 for standard hotel free continental fare? I think not!

MegCole, thank you for your review and ratings. Our Serenity Beds are something special and so is our pool area amenities. Glad to see you enjoyed them. If guests are looking for a more traditional continental breakfast at our hotel that type of fare is available in our Executive Lounge and at The Marketplace. What is served at our Chef's Table at The Bistro is a full all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast with omelets made to order, eggs, waffles, yogurts, granola, sausage, bacon, cereal, etc. The Bistro also has an a la carte menu with some pretty spectacular breakfast choices. This differentiation makes the offering at The Bistro more in line with the pricing you mentioned. We appreciate you staying with us and hope that you would consider returning in the future.

“Great tradesow hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Recently stayed at the Hilton for a tradeshow at the OCCC. Very lovely pool and common area. Has a spa and several eating options. Do not like that there is a charge for Internet in the room. But the staff has been very friendly and the breakfast good. It can be a hike to the west convention building.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the pool.

“Great meeting and family vacation location”

Very nice Hilton Hotel.

Rooms are nicely appointed, clean, and the bathrooms are roomy. The gym is awesome here.

Executive room: Makes being a Hilton Honors member worthwhile.

I was here for a large meeting, and the convention area and meeting rooms were always very clean.

Concierge is fantastic here. Lots of recommendations for restaurants, ground transportation, shopping, etc. Make sure you utilize them if you need anything.

Pool area is amazing. We had a beautiful reception outside around the pool, and it was awesome at night. I wish I could have enjoyed the lazy river!!

Very nice location to everything!! Ask about the trolley.

Room service was awesome, particularly for my need of a grilled cheese sandwich at 1:00am. 2 nights in a row.

One thing I did notice here on the meeting side was the customer service. The servers were sooo friendly. They helped with my gluten free situation, and also helped another person who came in late for lunch. The food was being packed away, but the server ran into the back and was able to grab my co-worker a plate of food. I was greeted by every staff member during our meeting, whether it was grabbing a bottle of water or eating breakfast. Wonderful.

There is a UPS Store onsite, as well as a Starbucks Market. I loved the market, but I have to say the service in the coffee shop was so-so. Example: After ordering my coffee, I had to wait until the "barista" was done texting before he started my drink. Then, my drink sat there a little bit longer while he sent another text. Conveniently, a manager walked in and that cell phone magically disappeared. This happened 3 times throughout the week. Maybe he was texting his "how to be a barista" instructor?? Doubt it.

Either way, I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Comfortable Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

people found this review helpful

Just checked out of the hotel this morning after a three night stay for a conference. Originally booked due to the proximity to the convention center (covered walkway). However, after we arrived, we realized we still had to take a bus to the conference because it was located in the North Concourse, which is long hike from the hotel.

That aside, the hotel met our expectations. Katie checked us in upon arrival, and she was fantastic. We didn't use the pool or gym, but both looked wonderful. Enjoyed a few minutes at the fire pit last night, and it was very relaxing. Another guest there was enjoying a beer and smoking a cigar, and it made us pretty envious.

Only complaint... charge for daily internet was $15.00, which we consider to be unreasonable considering the hotel rooms aren't cheap, and the fact that the majority of the hotel guests were business travelers. Parking was also about $15 per night, but that is to be expected given the location.

Enjoyed breakfast at the Bistro. We ordered a la carte, which was a mistake... Ordering the breakfast buffet at $19.50 per person would have been a more economical option believe it or not. Breakfast items at the Marketplace were acceptable, and the atmosphere at David's Place was pleasant (great beer selection also).

Oh, and items at the hotel store were reasonably priced. Ended up getting cold symptoms during our stay, and purchased cough drops, a pocket pack of tissues and mints and the total cost was less than $5. A nice surprise considering I expected to pay at least double that amount for those items.

This was our first Hilton stay, and I must say I am looking forward to the opportunity to go back. We highly recommend this hotel.

OrlandoTravels - a very detailed review. Thank you for sharing your experience with everyone. From your description it looks like you were able to enjoy several of our food and beverage venues, our gift shop and even had a little time for some R&R at the fire pits. Hope you feel better! We are sorry that you were disappointed with the internet fees but thrilled to see that you would recommend our hotel and consider staying with us again.
