I was there for two nights, Feb 8 and 9. Arriving by shuttle, I noticed that Bonnet Creek is about the only turn inside of Disney World that is not marked with a large sign like all of the other turns and hotel entrances--maybe because it is on property not owned by Disney. From the main road inside of Disney World, it is is another 5-10 minute drive alongside a golf course. The hotel itself has a grand driveway. Doormen jump to it to open your door and offer to take luggage. The check in desk was fully staffed with no one being served, so that everyone in my 3 person group checked in simultaneously. I never saw a line there despite going past several times each day. My room was 404. The hall was quiet and brightly lit as was the room. I never heard any of my neighbors except for occasional door-closing sounds from the hallway.
The room door was solid and heavy, but not heavy enough to actually latch without an additional push. I just had to be careful arriving and leaving that it actually closed, a minor security problem. The room was spacious with a king bed, desk with pull out extra semi-oval table, office chair, lounge chair and ottoman, large flat screen TV, refrigerator, no mini-bar (a plus in my mind), coffee maker with 4 packets of coffee and 1 decaf and teabags. I carefully avoided touching the 1 liter bottles of water with prominent $5 price tags. The tap water was just fine for drinking. Lamps all had extra plugs at their bases for phone chargers or computer chargers.
The bed was enormous and quite comfortable. The office chair was painfully hard and the lounge chair was so-so in comfort in odd contrast with the bed. There was a reasonable but unlighted closet with plenty of hangers for clothes. There was an ironing board and iron but no safe.
The bathroom was average sized for an American hotel with bright lights. The counter was granite with a tile floor. The shower was about 6 feet long and 3-4 feet wide with a clear glass enclosure. The shower head was a broad one that normally delivers the equivalent of heavy rain. However, my room never got truly hot water. The toilet was a silent one that appeared to use a low volume flush.
All the towels and linens were very high quality or luxurious. There were enormous high quality green towels at the pool and small white towels in the gym. The pool has a lazy river connecting three pools, one of them next to Beech, the poolside bar. The fireplaces were quite charming. There was also a water slide which seemed like lots of fun judging from the reaction of several kids. Water temperature was perfect, and the hot tubs were quite nice too. Signs warn that there is no lifeguard, but the deepest water was only 4 feet. Looks like parents do have to pay attention with small kids (but when don't we?).
I think internet access was prepaid for my group. It was painless to sign in, and it worked well both as a hard wired connection and a wireless connection. Phone calls on my ATT cell phone were painfully noisy in my room and in the meeting rooms when the connections weren't dropped which seemed odd for a high-end resort hotel. Meeting rooms were as expected in furnishings but each participant had a bit more space than usual at meeting tables which was nice. Food for the meetings was outstanding.
All the service people throughout the hotel were courteous and friendly. After check out, I had a long wait for my ride to the airport and was able to use the gym after they issued me a gym only key.
There is a free shuttle to the Magic Kingdom and to Downtown Disney, but it takes a painful 40 minutes to get to Downtown Disney. A cab ride was 15 minutes due to traffic and about 10 dollars. We didn't try the half hourly Disney buses that go only to the Disney Transportation Center requiring transfers to anywhere else.
Overall, it was very, very good as a hotel with just a few minor misses. I'd return for a business trip. For a family going on a vacation featuring Disney World though, I noticed that the Disney World Flavor was quite subdued, which might be a plus or a minus depending on your point of view.
