We have visited this hotel three years in a row. We will not be visiting. Maintenance, especially in the pool area, was sadly lacking. The hot tub had a green color that was quite obvious. The same pool garbage was there for two days. The laundry area garbage was also not removed or the trash littering the parking lot. This was a great hotel now heading downhill.

There were cigarette burns in the bedspread and blanket in a non-smoking room. Hair on bathroom floor and in drawers. Coffee carafe was so cruddy you couldn't use it and the filter holder as well. The garbage cans outside were overflowing. Empty pop cans in planters outdoors. The grounds were unkept. We were there 3 nights and it was close to the place we needed to be at. I had read the reviews and thought it might not be as bad as reported, but it really could have been cleaner and neater.

Room was not very clean, bed very uncomfortable,bathroom vent was not working, no continental breakfast. Our room was located near the outside garbage dumpster and we were woken up by the garbage truck. Very loud, banging.@ 5:30 am! This was a terrible experience and we would not recommend this hotel. These issues were brought to the attention of the staff but they did not seem overly concerned with taking care of it.

Well this hotel looks majestic from the road with a wonderful foyer, but we had prebooked it anyway so were not caught by that trap.

The hotel compared to some of the other hotels reviewed for New Port Richey did not seem so bad. The price was good; the restaurant was slow to serve but the food was ok; the pool area was a bit shabby; and the room could have been cleaner. I don't think the fluff from under the bed had been allowed to build up for years and you don't know what detritus has collected in that. I noticed this when I was checking for items before we left.

The staff were not gushing or fast, but polite. The location was convenient for the cluster of towns around Clearwater that i needed to visit.
