We needed a decent place to stay for 1 night before our cruise. This hotel is only about 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to the port of Miami, close to tons of shopping malls. A good selection of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is very clean, rooms have been update and are of a good size. Bathroom is cramped but clean. Staff is freindly, but do not speak english well. Nice breakfast set up, good selection of foods for every taste.

For the price of a nights stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its convenience to everything, cleanliness and staff.

Everything is new and clean. No coffee set up in the entrance like in most holiday inn's. Staff doesn't speak English but are good at charades. bathrooms seem iffy. Would likely stay again.

My wife and i stayed here for 8 nights in november after reading the trip advisor reviews and glad we did.the hotel is excellent. it is a smallish hotel with about fifty rooms on five floors.the room we stayed in was very large with air conditioning, a large shower,sofa ,micorwave,fridge,iron,coffee machine and large screen tv on the wall.the double size bed was clean and very comfy.staff were very pleasant and helpful with room cleaned plus fresh towels every day.it also has free internet access and free coffee all day long.the pool and pool area was clean and a sunbed allways avaiable.the breakfast included was good with a wide range of food to suit all tastes.the best piece is that it was quiet even being about 800 yards from the main road we never heard a sound and slept well which is more than can be said about other usa hotels we have stayed in.opposite the hotel is a small shopping cente which houses a few restaurants and shops which was nice for an evening meal.
The only negative comment is the hotel is on the east of miami which is a few miles from south beach and downtown miami,but the bus stops outside the hotel and will take you to the dade shopping mall/metro station.for $2 a person.once there you can purchase a day,s pass for $5 which will allow you to use the mono-rail and bus service to vist down town miami ,south beach and other shopping malls,superb value.you can also use it to get to miami airport if you wish.the weather was great .make sure you visit the everglades and zoo.if you use taxi,s like us to and from the airport expect to pay about $50 each way so use public transport where you can. so although a bit off the main area the hotel more than makes up for it,s position and we found it safe to walk out at night the half mile or so to the restaurants.the traffic is busy but the lights allow you to cross in safety.if we come back to miami this will be our first choice without exception

Stay at this hotel for weekend getaways to Miami. The hotel is always clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and include a microwave and mini fridge. The staff is courteous and makes checking in easy. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and shopping is just a few miles away.
