This is the worst hotel i have seen in america, period! Booked in advance, with shuttle from the airport. The shuttle never came after waiting an hour, we had to spend over $30 to get to the hotel. When we arrived there were four people in front of us complaining about the smell and cleanliness. When it was our turn I mentioned the missing shuttle and was informed that it wasn't missing it was doing a shopping trip. Unbelievable. I was then told that this was normal and was presented with the schedule from the duty manager. I said that this was not stated anywhere on our booking info or on their website, the reply "it would't be sir as true website does not publish this". I then asked to see the room after hearing others complain. I was shown a room that was unclean, stank, and was built in the 70's. I returned to reception where my other half was waiting and explained that we were not staying and wished to cancel our reservation. At this point another ember of staff joined the duty manger and both were unhelpful and rude. At first they refused to give us any further help, I had to argue to get them to write our cancellation number on their letterhead which they pretended not to have. After 5 minutes of arguing they finally opened a drawer and wrote our cancellation number on letterhead.

I can not stress enough how dirty the hotel was and how rude the staff were. The hotel is also over half an hour away from the airport, when I stated that this was not an airport hotel they claimed that they were the nearest Howard Johnsons to the airport so this is why they called themselves an airport hotel.

Even this hotel is cheap it is not worth it, quite honestly we will never even think of staying at one of these places again, Howard Johnson needs to sort this place out.

With your breakfast, you can have a cafe but no juice, or juice but no coffee. All is restricted. I do not recommend anyone to spend a night there. You will regret it so much as I regret paying $ 145 a night in a hole that does not even deserve the price of a one star hotel.

We are repeat clients and booked 3 nights King non smoking Penthouse room.For the money all is fine,Comfortable bed,clean bathroom.Would use again.Only thing I left my jacket in the closet and after calling front desk was told they would mail it my expense of course.We'll see.
