This hotel was typical of Residence Inns in which we have stayed. Rooms were clean and comfortable with small kitchen areas (loved the included microwave popcorn) equipped with coffeemaker, microwave, dishes and utensils. The complimentary breakfast was welcome on the morning of the cruise especially since the location is not near many restaurants. However, close-by are other Marriott affiliated hotels and we had a nice dinner the night we stayed there at the Marriott Hotel just a short walk away. Desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Lobby area was small and not conducive to hanging out there. Shuttle service (paid) to the cruise port was available and on time and we were able to arrive at our cruise ship for early boarding. All in all a nice experience that set the stage for a great cruise vacation
