We had run of the house Non-refundable or we would have left once we saw the room. It was on the second floor every thing was dirty, steps, hall, the paint chipped off the walls. No closet, a folding chair, no soap, no wash cloths, no bath mat, no blanket only a top sheet, no heat. had to register at the hotel Ocean Surf next door because Hawaii had a locked door, no one at the Hawaii hotel desk. After the second time complaining and very upset they finally gave us a room on the second floor of their hotel the Ocean Surf. They had an elevator but it was broke also the bathroom by the elevator was out of order. The room was only a little better, dirty halls, broken tiles on the floor of our room light blanket, no heat. No bed spread only a light blanket. We were their two nights and the room was never cleaned nor clean linens. Parties on the porch beneath our room till all hours or the morning. Don't even think of going there.

Went there last labor day weekend to visit Miami. The check-in is to be done in an adjacent hotel, which looks terrible. The receptionist does not speak english very well and upon check-in, they'd charge you $100 deposit. This wasn't disclosed at all, but since we wanted to have a good time, we let them do that.

Coming inside the hotel, you have to buzz in in what sort of looks like a dilapidated building from the outside. Nothing like the images from the website. The rooms are very basic with red walls but the sheets are just plain ugly and there is a pungent smell all over the hotel and especially in the rooms. Walls are pretty thin so you could hear noises either from other rooms or from ghosts, I dunno, not ideal for relaxing.

While the beaches are just a few steps away, I would think other hotels are definitely a lot better. I was also charged an additional $50 upon check-out without them informing me and now they wouldn't reverse the charge. Very unprofessional. My advice: stay away from this hotel and find a better deal elsewhere.

The price and location were right but that's where the pleasantries end. There seemed to be sand everywhere, there weren't any complimentary toiletries and we never had enough towels. At one point we were even given bath mats for towels! If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel and want to be close to the beach then this is your place- but if you want a little luxury then stear clear.
