My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hilton from June 17th - June 20th. We had a great rate of $145 per night and that included the full breakfast buffet for both of us each day ($20 per person normally). We had a very nice room on the 10th floor very close to the beach end of the hotel. Although we had a very pretty view, if we had been on the opposite side of the hall we would have had a better view up the beach and over the pool. Hey, it was still a great view, so no use complaining. Nicely appointed room with quality fixtures and an extra vanity outside of the bathroom. The room had lots of drawers and storage areas. It also had a couch, 2 chairs, one ottoman and a desk and chair. There was also a small fridge and a flat panel TV. The A/C kept things cool although it seemed to stop one night and we had to reset it. The linens, bed, and pillows were fantastic. There was an ice machine and a pop machine at the end of the hall. Pop was only $1.50 for a 20oz bottle.
I was hoping to stay at the Marriott but it was $150 more per night and it didn't include breakfast. The Hilton was too good a deal to pass up and we were really pleased with what we received.

The lobby bar was nice, we had a smoked turkey quesadilla before sunset one evening and it was tasty. The burger was ok at the pool bar after our wave runner tour and my girlfriend’s chicken tenders were decent. The breakfasts though were very good. The list price of the buffet ($20) might sound a little steep, but you get fresh OJ, Coffee, made to order omelets and waffles, plus great fresh fruit, Danish, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and lots of other things. They have a really nice screened in porch type area that you can eat outside as well. Since it was included in our rate it made it all the better!
We then did the Jet Ski tour of the islands from the people at the Hilton. They did a very nice job. It was $135 for each of us (after a $10 rate reduction for being guests of the Hilton) and we each took our own wave runner. We had a great time. I got a good bit of sun on my shoulders, but we saw some wildlife and got to zip around the gulf and troll through the mangroves. The guide was very nice.
The pool area at the Hilton is very nice although they really cram the loungers in and make it difficult to get into. Most of them you can't walk in between them. You have to sit and slide back into them. They had the same soundtrack on for the 3 days that we are there. Maybe some satellite radio or something? Or at least mix up the Cds!
Again, we found the Hilton offered a great value with a reasonable rate, good service and rooms, and a great location. We would not hesitate to stay there again.More
