Stayed there on our way back from visiting family in South FL. We were driving N on I-75 and were planning to stop at the crossroads with I-10/90. Those hotels were booking up fast with travelers (12-28-11) and were price gouging ($130 for a room). Decided to keep driving even though it was late. We headed W on 90. So Madison is a glimmer of hope when you are tired and its late. We turned into Best Western right off the highway, quickly registered and were happy to find a very nice, clean, comfortable and quiet room. On the way to FL we stayed in Daphne, AL at a different chain hotel and that stay is still haunting us. Best part, aside from a restful sleep at the Best Western in Madison, is the cheerful breakfast staff and breakfast. Real eggs, real bacon, real oatmeal, real fruit...coffee and juice were great. Glad we headed W at I-75 and found it. Now I know where to stay when we come back next year.

We stayed here on our way from visiting Jacksonville. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was adequate. A place I would return to at a later time.

My husband & I stopped here for the night after driving most of the day. We were very tired and looking for a clean place to rest for the night. The lady at the front desk was very nice and made sure she put us in a room away from others. The bed was comfortable and the room had a mini fridge and a microwave. This hotel also had a washer & dryer, a fitness center, a pool and complimentary breakfast. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

the price for the room was serious gouging because of the local sporting event. And then I was not able to cancel the reservation from the day I made it, this is unethical. So once we arrived, multiple issues with the room became apparent. No cable TV is available. In the room, the entry light didn't work, the light over the vanity didn't work. There was no light bulb in the desk lamp. The sheets were as scratchy as I've ever experienced. The entry door didn't seal, so there was a huge light leak at night. Extremely weak internet service which kept dropping off my connection. The maid service did not restock the room after the first night stay with coffee and toiletry items. No news paper available on Sunday, not even for purchase. The bathroom door shutting was very noisy.
I am very interested to hear why this is called a Best Western PLUS?
