“Incredible Experience!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

This inn is perfect for a romatic get away, for a weekend treat, for a family reunion or for a business retreat. The inn is set in a gorgeous tropical setting in a neighborhood with homes that are really cute and inviting. The inn sits within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops and the city of Lake Worth is very quaint and walkable.

Our stay could not have been more perfect. The weather, the food, the activities, the pool and the inn keepers were all lovely. I have stayed in many bed and breakfast and this experience was one of the best ever. I read reviews from other readers who reported an issue with mosquitos but though the temperature while we were in Lake Worth were in the 80s, we did not see, feel or experience a single bug.

I toured all the rooms and they are all lovely but some, as should seem obvious, are bigger or better than others. The suites are all spacious and all have luxury bathrooms but the Pineapple and the Cottage are much better arranged and decorated and I would recommend them above the Mango.

Breakfast includes biscuits and scones, fruit bread and cereal, yogurt and fruit, coffee, tea and juice, cheese and a baked dish of some variety. One day we had a baked egg and jalapeno dish and the next day we were served a delicious apple/caramel french toast. There is a daily treat of cookies or brownies that are served at mid-afternoon and soft drinks, salty snacks, tea, coffee and wine are available all day.

The beach is just a short walk over the bridge and takes about 15 minutes. The inn keepers provide beach chairs and beach towels and there is an outdoor shower to get that sand off of you when you get home from the beach.

There are three parking spaces available at the front of the Inn and more than ample parking on the street just a few steps away from the front door. The designated smoking area includes a fountain and is located and situated in a way where neither noise or second hand smoke is an issue for anyone staying in the inn. We are non-smokers and while there were often smokers in the smoking area of the grounds we never heard or smelled them.

The inn keepers are professional and helpful and it is clear that they try to provide the guests with the best experience possible. I would recommend the Mango Inn to anyone looking for a B&B experience that will exceed all expectations.

Room Tip: Choose the Pineapple or the Cottage Suites for an extra special experience.

“Great for Family Reunion or Corporate Retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

We recently rented the entire inn for my mother's 80th birthday. The Mango Inn could not have been more perfect. The inn sits in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood that is just far enough away from the downtown area to make it peaceful but close enough that you can walk to the shops and cafes in 5-10 minutes.

The grounds are impeccably maintained and the areas to gather and socialize are beautiful. The three suites each contain a kitchen area and the Pineapple Suite has a complete kitchen which came in handy as we had a big meal on her birthday which was partially catered but that required some oven and stove top warming.

The beds, linens and towels are all of the highest quality and even the least expensive rooms are beautifully decorated and exceedingly comfortable. The inn has a top notch free wifi system that handled the demands of 16 people using computers all at once and the heating and cooling systems in each of the rooms worked flawlessly ( we were there in late December so both heating and air conditioning was required by my heat and cold sensitive 80 year old mother).

The inn keepers are delightful and helpful and they provide a delectable breakfast every morning. There is more food available than you will ever eat and that is saying a lot as I have three brothers who can eat you out of house and home. In addition to breakfast, the inn keepers provide snacks, soft drinks and wine and there is an afternoon baked treat offering that is made daily.

The pool is heated and the lounge area around the pool is comfortable and sunny. The Cottage Suite front the pool area and has, as has the Pineapple Suite, its own sitting area with a table and several chairs. My mother stayed in the Cottage and loved watching the grand kids play in the pool while sitting at her porch table. There were two 80 year old women with us and there were no accessibility issues at all as most of the inn is accessible on the ground floor or by climbing, at most, three steps.

The city of Lake Worth is quaint and picturesque and the dining, wining and cafe opportunities abound. The beach is a short walk over the bridge and the inn will provide you beach chairs and beach towels if you request them. The Palm Beaches are also a short 10-15 minute drive away and we all enjoyed our shopping and people watching there.

This inn would be perfect for any kind of reunion and for a business retreat and though the inn does not normally allow children, if you rent the entire inn, they will accommodate kids as well (this is what we did as we had three children in our party). The reservation system if you have to book the entire inn can be somewhat cumbersome but the inn keepers will gladly book it for you at your request.

If you are looking for any type of get away, I will guarantee you that you will not be disappointed by anything at the Mango Inn. This inn over delivers in every possible way.

Room Tip: The Pineapple Suite is best if you have a family of four.

“Relaxing, historic inn with lush landscaping”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

This was our fourth stay over several years and the tradition of hospitable service continues. The Mango Suite, separate from the main house, offers a private patio and living area. Decor is warm and current. We will return again. Owners are very friendly and outgoing. Breakfast offerings are yummy.

Room Tip: If you want a kitchenette and living room, choose a suite. Very quiet and private.

“Each visit is better than the one before. Could THAT be possible?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 April 2011

Have just completed my 7th stay at the Mango Inn. When I walk in the door, I feel as if I am in my SECOND home. Deb and Judi make sure of that. I am constantly spolied and love every minute of it. From the night-time cookies to the mango stuffed franch toast in the morning, I could not envision a better place to stay. Thank you Deb & Judy for making me truly feel '"at home".

“I can't imagine a better value or a more comfortable stay."”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 March 2011

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The house is comfortable, quiet and attractively appointed. Our room, the least expensive, was small but lacked nothing. The bed was very comfortable, quiet, and there was plenty of hot water. The beauitfully landscaped garden and pool are quiet and inviting, and the terrace is perfect for the ample and delicious breakfasts provided. Deb and Judi are attentive hosts and were constantly accommodating, helpful and enthusiastic about the area and its attractions. Because the beaches are across the intercoastal waterway, you could be stranded in more remote locations and need a car to get to the beach and pay for parking. Mango Inn is less than two blocks from the bridge, so it's an easy walk to the beach. It's also convenient by foot to the restaurants, bars and shops of Lake Worth. It was perfect for a restful stay away from our New England winter.
