This is my second stay . This place couldnt be any nicer. It is like a little Jewl for a though winter. Lake clay is beautiful and hilly,yes hilly in Florida .The house was very clean , kept up and fresh but the house was probably 75 years old (FLORIDA) That is the charm. They watch there tenants and everyone respects the quietness of the trees and Lakeshore wildlife. The hospital is one mile away (my father in law ) and the people couldnt be nicer.

My husband and I decided we wanted a weekend away from all of the noise of busy South Florida. We had found the perfect spot! We stayed in one of the small cottages over looking the lake. The view was fantastic. The cottage was very cozy, clean and private. The whole experience was extremely relaxing and soothing. We felt much refreshed after our stay! Room rates are competitive and very good for what you get. Service was very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to going back with the whole family!

Let me first say, the grounds are lovely! Beautiful mature trees and foliage. We reserved main house, cute and cozy. Had all the amenities of home. It could have used a good hosing down, especially the front porch and windows, where dead bugs had accumulated. Found a few dead mosquitos in the bed. Check in was a nightmare - Diane would not let us check in at 1:00 when we arrived, unless we paid $10 per hour (she referred us to the web site for further information). So at 3:00 when we checked in, a temp was there and it took more than 45 minutes to check into two cottages. Even though one of our parties had provided all of the pertinent information to John, it was never relayed and had to be re-input into the computer by the temp helper. Upgrades to kitchen and baths were very nice. The place could use some TLC - clean the screens and cieling fans, possibly scrubbing down the moldy furniture on the dock. We used our beach towels to cover the chairs and found a plastic tablecloth in the dining room to cover the dirty table. Enjoyed feeding the squirrels and fishing from the dock. Overall a nice stay, but could have been better if the screens were cleaned and the dead bugs washed off the front windows and door.

Had a great time while we were there. Only planned on staying 1 night and spent 3. Cutest cottages I have seen. Clean and very accommodating.
