We recently stayed here with 4 other families from our softball team. With the rate we received (41 per night average) I was a bit skeptical about what we would be walking into. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean. There was a nice area with cabinets and a microwave and a refrigerator. The lobby was clean and welcoming. Breakfast choices were sparse but they did a good job of keeping the area stocked and clean. We were about 7 or 8 miles from Disney and about the same from the other park in which we were playing. There is a Red Lobster, Bravo Supermarket, Italian restaurant and gift shops within walking distance and within a short drive you will find everything you need/want. The weather was cold while we were there so we did not use the pool and there is no hot tub. The pool looked nice and I liked the wooden tables around the pool area. The only complaints I have about the room is when we arrived there was no Kleenex or toilet paper, no plastic bag for the ice bucket and only 3 towels for 4 people. I sent the girls to the front desk and they quickly brought the items to our room. In the morning when I went to make coffee there was no regular coffee or coffee cups. I left a note for housekeeping and those items were left for us.

Got a room with a "kitchenette". I was expecting a full size refrigerator with a kitchen area, but there was only an extra kitchen sink with a small work area with a micro above it and no dishwasher. The refrigerator was your standard mini frige.
Beds were cheap, but fairly comfortable in keeping with a two star rating. Rugs were clean and in good repair. You can tell the rooms older, but it looks like they have kept up maintenance.
What was disturbing was that I had a few maintenance concerns in the room; 1) the rubber stopper for the kitchen sink was missing and I needed to wash dishes and pans. 2) the bathroom sink drained very slowly. And 3) the coffeemaker didn't brew. I brought these concerns to management on the way out to our activity. That evening, only the coffemaker was replaced...but no coffee packets. Had to go to the front desk to get them.
The surrounding area is a bit on the creepy side.
Definitely a 2 - 1.5 star property. If you're just looking for somewhere to crash, this could be it.
Only reason I booked this was that I got a tremendous deal on Priceline "Name Your Own Price" and was the closest map circle to where I was going to go.
Looking at some surrounding hotels, there is better around in the same price class...

I always use Priceline and use the "name your own price". To my surprise, I put in my amount and clicked on 2 stars. I read most of the reviews. I am a local. I am a Caregiver, 24/7. I Live where I work. So, for my special "time" away, I was Wonderfully surprised!!! Knowing the area, any outta-towner would be taken aback. NO!!!...the Hotel is "spot-on"! It exceeded my expectations. The rooms are so very clean. Great surprise was the mini kitchen. And with my past experiences...it was roach free. The rooms are immaculate! Beds were comfy.
Allow your first impression be the owners/front desk personnel. I credit the cleanliness of the room to the young lady, Michelle, who cleaned my room, she was extremely accommodating. They could not be more kind and passionate about their hotel, and with due reason! The Baymont in Kissimmee, is a 3 star (not the 2 they were given, SO wrong)...don't underestimate this wonderful place. And for outta-towners, is just minutes to all of the attractions.

Baymont is a decent place to stay if you're going to the parks in Orlando. It's clean and the staff is very nice. The continental breakfast is not very abundant and it gets very crowded in the morning, but it's ok. We chose to have breakfast outside the hotel. It's about 15 minutes away from Disney if there's not too much traffic. It's well located, clean (which is very important for us), and the rooms are not too small.
