Four friends (two couples) stayed for one week in early January 2011. We checked in at 8:30 p.m. and were quickly shown to our unit. It was in the back of the property and was very tired. The beds and linens were old and worn. The appliances were in dire need of replacement. We had to monkey with the coffee maker each day to get it to work. We declined a "tour" of the facilities as there is no chance we would be interested in "owning" at Fantasy Villas. The pool area is very beautiful and well suited for children and teens. No real quiet area for adults. Very commercial with cabanas for rent and a warning that any food or beverage had to be purchased. The price we paid was very reasonable and this eased some of the "tired" aspects of the facility. All in all I believe you get better value by renting a home. Probably the weakest timeshare I have stayed at in the area. This place is much more suited to families than to retired couples.

My husband & I and our three children, ages 16, 15 and 9 just spent 10 nights at Fantasy World. It was our first Christmas away from home and our experience there was fabulous! Loved that it was decorated for the Holiday, and enjoyed listening to the Christmas songs continue even after Christmas day.
Even though the villa we stayed in could use a little up dating, it was perfect for us. If there was any problems, they were on top of it and fixed it right away. The pool, lazy river, gym, arcade and tennis court was awesome!They offered activities throughout the day for all to enjoy.
Enjoyed our lunches at the out door bar area, the bartender made us feel welcome and comfortable. Loved the fact that after spending a full day at the overly crowed amusement park, that it was the opposite back at Fantasy World Resort and we could relax at the pool soaking it all in.
At the front desk, if there was anything you needed to know, there was a gentlemen that is super nice and made sure you were being taking care of.
On Christmas eve I took the kids for a walk around the grounds getting some fabulous shots and especially loved that they offered a Christmas tree for pictures also.
Almost any kind of shopping or restaurants are near by as well as the amusement parks.
We would recommend this villa resort to our friends. Thanks for making our Holiday a special one.

The room are small. You are crowded walking over each other. The bathroom for 6 people is terrible. The carpet was old and dirty looking. We have to travel past trash bins to get to our unit. There was a cyclone fence in back of our unit. On the other side of the cyclone fence was businesses. Not what you expect to see in sunny Florida. The place was congested and definitely not a comfortable place. It wasn't a place where you could relax. There wasn't any grass in the front or back of my unit. This you would not expect in Florida.
I would not stay there again.

very nice place to stay i did have proplem with patio door not opening but somone came the next day to try to fix it not to worried as we were hardly there nice person at the front desk named{ david } i also felt safe there as it was first time in usa will go there again hope this helps
