We are still staying at the vacation village and I just had to say what a pleasant experience this has been. The courteous and friendly staff extends themselves to answer our requests from choice of rooms to complimentary internet. More than once staff has asked us if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. We are in building 9 which has been upgraded. Units are tastefully decorated in a tropical theme. The A/B units in building 8-9 are freshly painted. They have new appliances, new furniture, adequate cooking supplies, a welcome package with paper towels, etc. to get started. The pools are very clean, warm and beautifully landscaped. Yes one pool area plays music and has activities, but there are at least 5 others that are quiet and lovely. There are gas grills and picnic tables. You can check out utensils for cooking from the pool attendants. Also there are tennis courts and again there is loaner equipment. We are on floor 4 so guests are above us and we do occasionally hear a light sound from a chair being moved up there but nothing else. It certainly is not irritating. All activities here are spread out over the property so lots of walking is the norm. We turned down the timeshare pitch once and were not asked again. We would definitely return to stay here and will recommend the Vacation Village at Parkway to friends.

On registering for a 2 week vacation, I told the Guest Services that I was not interested in any prromotions and did not want to review, make comments on the units or purchase another Timeshare. Within the first week, there were 5 phone calls from guest services asking me to attend a promotional event. Although I again responded that I was not interested and asked that they do not call again, a representative from RCI was positioned in the loby on my unit and she began harassing me again, When I again objected to the invasion of my privacy, she offered me a number to call in order to stop the intrusion. Why should I have to go through this and to lodge a complaint to the same people that I asked not to call us.

If you are there for 2 weeks you do not deserve clean sheets, garbage bags nothing.... the charge you $50 a week for internet..... but others nothing....it tIok over an hour for 1 girl to check us in .... they kept saying it was computer problems....I am here for 2 weeks l want a vacuum cleaner. sanitizer for the toilet.... am i expected to pay for it???? i want the oven cleaned!!!!!! am i supposed to do that????? they supplied sheets but not big enough for the bed so i had to flip the old one over like we did in boarding school.... .if i have to make the beds they can;t even supply the right size!!!!!! If you are a Vacation Village owner from one of the other resorts.... do not come to parkway ... you are second class..... and watch out for the sales pitches they never stop..... we came for a family vacation and got treated very,,,, very .... poorly..... and we still have another week to go....we would ha ve paid for cleaning service if they had told us about it..... but then it took an hour to check us in.... and we watch 20 maybe 30 people check in while we waited.....no communication at all.....submitting this when i still have 1 week left

Great rooms plenty of space, it had everything we needed, will stay there again.
