It is worth pointing out prior to this review that each of the condos' situated on the Sweetwater Club estate are independently owned, this review refers to number 42.

This was the first time that my family and I had booked out vacation home without the assistance and relative safety of a travel agent and I have to say that I was apprehensive however the owners made the whole process as easy as it could be.

The condo itself is superbly situated just of the 192 in the heart of everything. Disney is just 10 minutes by car, Seaworld and Universal Studios are 15 minutes and there are any amount of restaurants practically on your doorstep.

The condo itself is very clean and well presented as well as providing everything you could need during your stay (including travel cots and car seats) and the owners were very responsive to my requests prior to our trip and stayed in communication throughout, even providing an information pack to assist us in our planning.

So to recap, if you are looking for a base for your Orlando/Disney vacation that is clean, comfortable and homely then you couldn't get much better.

I rented a 3 bedroom home in Sweetwater Club and i have to tell you it was great. I have a Colonial Style home and i wanted an actual house not a hotel room while staying in FL. This was great because we were exhausted at the end of the day. If you pay all the money to go to the Parks i stay all day if i can and get my money's worth. i like to be able to come back to a home at the end of the night. Yes they are individually owned but at the end of the day you have to decide what works best for your family.

This place has tons of potential but it needs an infusion of energy and cash. Our unit had a non-working tv remote, broken dining chair, a bad smell coming from behind the fridge, a blown bulb in the kids room and the mattresses and furniture had gone soft from over-use. It was located in a semi-residential and quiet area but not far at all from civilization. If you can, stay at Westgate.

As a previous reviewer wrote it is important to know that these apartments and individuay owned. We stayed in 2442 no 42 and loved it. It was clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable. It was so nice to come back to at the end of the day that half of our visit we stayed in to eat as we didn't want to go out again. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds so comfortable, plenty of towels, washing up liquid and hand wash in two bathrooms. The washing machine and dryer were a godsend.The boiler packed up and Bob and Diane (managers) came round within 15 minutes of our call and it was replaced the next day - thank you! The owners phoned us a few days later to check all ok. Great service and lovely people. The location off the 192 was ideal as we were able to easily visit Daytona and Tampa as well as the parks. Will be recommending to friends and if we return to Florida will be looking to stay here again
