I chose this Hampton Inn because of visiting the Koreshan State Park, the site of a most interesting religious cult. The hotel was not that easy to find in the dark (tucked behind an office building) but once there, it was perfectly satisfactory. There was a reasonable restaurant within walking distance.
A dependable stay for a reasonable price. Since we arrived at night, we stayed here before going to an expensive resort (Hyatt).
have stayed multiple times, have not been disappointed yet.
several choices in area as hotel is near a popular outet mall, Florida Gulf Coast College, and Germaine area (hockey).
Just off I75., and very close to several restaurants as well.
a typical Hampton Inn, but do not mean that in negative,
all looks new, rooms are great, lobby area large, etc.
I have been multiple times, and have visited using Hilton Honor points, they always adhere to my preferences, etc.
The back of the hotel fronts alarge wooded area, if you like quiet, ask for a room ontjhe back side, nice to look out and again very quiet.
Only possible negative, given its location during hockey events it could fill up, may want to check if like it quiet. They do control things from my experience, I have been there with tournaments being played and players present.
This is the first Hampton Inn I have stayed at and I was pleasantly surprised. I do understand somewhat why there is a "premium" to pay for these hotels. I'm not 100% sure but I think this place was renovated, because parts of the bathroom looked older like the shower head. But no biggy really. The bed was super comfortable, staff was super keen to assist, was expecting a flat screen lcd or plasma but got a normal tv. The fruit at breakfast was just devine, all the food was fresh and they restocked promptly when it ran out. Though, I thought the hot food portion wasn't that great. Like I did with Comfort Suites in Miami, I only stayed here because of the voucher that I had, otherwise I personally don't think its worth spending that amount of money for a single person staying in a hotel.
