We stay here frequently and I cannot say enough "good" about this hotel. Spotless, cozy, quiet, convenient, just awesome. The rooms are huge, tv huge, and the shower alone is awesome, huge, clean, and so modern!! Housekeeping does a super job. The only complaint I have is that when they built this Hyatt I think they forgot to build the outdoor pool in the proper location. The pool basically is on the North/East corner and gets NO AFTERNOON SUN. Maybe a pinch..... But that is not a deal breaker for me. You have all the shops right across the parking lot, Target, etc. Many restaurants all within a few miles down the road.

This is a wonderful place to stay: beautiful room & breakfast, friendly staff, wifi, shopping nearby, etc. But be warned if you plan to lay in the sun: the outdoor pool is on the North side of this 5 story building, completely shaded all day (January).

Firstly, apologies for the delayed review... Hyatt Hotels - what a great hotel this is! Alyssa Butler and Garfield are excellent employees - not only very good with us, but I observed them with other guests. Hyatt would do well to bring trainee staff to this hotel to watch them.

The hotel itself, as others have stated is excellent too. When we stayed in September the pool was almost our own! The room was large, comfortable, very clean & maintained that way by excellent maid service. They were always friendly and polite too.

What else? My advice is simple, if you are in this area then stay here, whether just for a few days or 2 weeks. Ideally located for travelling to places by car, or if you want to sample the drinks there are plenty of bars and restaurants which you can walk too - I know this is unusual in Florida, but it is a great option to have.

This is the second time we come back to this Hotel. The first time was two years ago, the hotel was new, and I feel in love: the hotel is in a perfect location, 10 min (driving) to the beach, and in a middle of a shopping mall where you can find everything: from Super Target, to Dillards, to Sephora, Guess and a Disney Store. In addition: Starbucks, Panera bread, and many upscale restaurants. Everything is outside, so you can go for a walk and shop in the evening and not being inside an indoor mall. Let's go back to the hotel: the staff is EXTREMELY NICE, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The rooms are big, with a separation between the bedroom area and the 'living room' with a sofa, Flat TV that can be directed to each area, very nice selections of movies (from 4.99), but especially (for a family with kids), CLEAN ROOMS.
The breakfast is great, from usual food (cereal, milk, donuts, etc), to hot freshly made food (egg muffins, mushroom and cheese croissants...
BTW, while the price is ~$140/night, we got lucky to get it through Hotwire for $55/night!!
