I have been vacationing at Sandestin for over 20 years. It is an ideal vacation spot that has only gotten better over time. Turnberry Villas are a newer neighborhood within the resort and a great location in close proximity to the Village at Baytowne Wharf. I love the large 3 bedroom units and full kitchens. It is a perfect combination of price and location within Sandestin. You can walk to the Village, which has been an awesome addition to Sandestin. It boasts restaurants, play areas, bars and shopping. You can drive to the beach. Turnberry has a nice pool. And expect to pay at least twice as much for a similar size unit in the Village.

I prefer to stay Bayside or Lakeside and drive to the beach, as staying Beachside often still requires driving to the beach entrance. Plus, when hauling beach gear and kids, I prefer to get as close as possible, which the parking lot at the beach entrance provides. We usually put three couples or two small families in a 3 bedroom unit, making the cost extremely inexpensive, especially when renting through an owner. The full kitchens are great for making lunches to take to the beach, and dinners when you don't want to hassle with going out. There was a comment on one of the units indicating that you could not go to the beach when renting through an owner. That is very misleading. Everyone staying at Sandestin has access to the beach. There are pools and areas that are specific to where you stay and how you book, but the beach is absolutely for everyone.
