Not bad for the money. Internet faster than other motels I’ve stayed in and a decent selection of TV channels. Water pressure was great but the shower stall was kind of rickety. The overhead light in the shower did not work and when I grabbed the handle in the shower stall, it fell off. Maintenance could be better. The entrance doorway to the room is narrow and you will have to unload the luggage cart outside of the room. Continental breakfast is just fine and well stocked. Rooms are a little dingy but not too bad. With my AAA discount the room was 80 bucks for the night. A/C worked just fine and the hotel was quiet enough to get a good night sleep. Can't say much more due to only using the hotel as a travel stop.

My family and I were planning a weekend trip to Destin in early August, called the Sleep Inn to make reservations a little over 24 hours before travelling. I was not told by the representative that you had only 24 hours to cancel your reservations; when I called back the next morning to cancel, I was told that I would be charged and that the reservation never should have been made. After reinterating that I was not told that when I made the reservation, he said he would not charge my credit card, BUT, I was treated very rudely and the customer service was totally unprofessional. HMMM, Destin may be one of GMA's Most Beautiful Places to see in America, but don't stay at the Sleep Inn!

This hotel fit the bill for me with regard to allowing me to bring my dog on a one night business trip......instead of boarding at a kennel. In general, I believe this chain of hotels to be pretty basic, not too many frills, and very affordable. For a Sleep Inn property, $100 is pretty high, but "season" at the beach dictates certain rises in prices.......so, I was not too surprised. What did surprise me was that the property was so dirty. The carpets in the halls needed a serious cleaning, and the carpet in my room needed the same attention. I'm sure I'll stay here again........next time, I'll just know what to expect.

My husband's co-worker booked this hotel for us. The room was very dated,had a moldy smell ,especially early in the morning. the bathroom was very small ,shower too (and I am a tiny person). The door wouldn't lock properly from the inside. We went out for dinner and we got a message that one of the guests of the hotel saw our door wide open and called the front desk... (nothing was missing but i am sure i closed the door behind me).
Internet was down.
No room service, no bar, not even a snack machine.
The pool was out...
If you want my advice , for that amount of money you can stay in much better hotels.
Usually there are more hotels next to it so do yourself a favor and pick the other one.
