We booked Perry's Ocean Edge Resort only 24 hours before getting there, if that. I almost always research through Trip Advisor before booking anything. Well because of an abrupt change of plans I had no time and did not expect a lot. So our trip was amazing. We had an ocean front view with lots of birds. I bought bread and let the kids feed them from the balcony, they had a great time watching the birds catch the bread in the air. The view was beautiful. The donuts were great (according to my family) the only thing is that they have only donuts and beverages. And if you are not into donuts than you watch everyone else eat. My big pet peeve is how clean the rooms are and this room was very clean. We had cleaning everyday if we wanted it. The one thing I will say is that our room DID NOT have an oven. Which was fine, but if you want to cook frozen pizzas you are out of luck. An added bonus was the putting green right below our window, my kids practiced every day. We tried out the pool only once and I even got in it!! So that says something about the tempurature. We ordered lunch at the Tiki hut and sat by shuffle board deck. And the food was good and so were the drinks we had. I have not been to Daytona Beach since my college days and had forgotten that there are cars that drive on the beach, so if you have kids just watch them closely. We would return to this resort in a heartbeat if we ever go back to Daytona Beach.

What a jewel. Great location, price and amenities! Can't wait to tell others about it and return with the entire family. Hated to leave!!!

My family loves, loves loves Perrys. This is the only place we stay when we go to Daytona. Everyone is awesome. I have never had one complaint with anyone or anything at Perrys, it is simply the best place ever. and the home made donuts are the best.

I've stayed here since I was a kid & love it. It's not the faciest place but it's a great value for an oceanfront hotel w/ and indoor pool (hard to find in here in FL). The rooms are clean, they have small or large kitchenettes, there is shuffleboard, a little putting green & a tiki hut. It's my favorite beach stop esp. in winter. This is the first time I've eaten at the diner in the parking lot & I was impressed. It was really cute, really clean & really friendly.
