Picked this one based on reviews and used points to book it, use to be the Hilton in Daytona. Very nice hotel overall many little extras to make your stay pleasant, from the restaurant to the pool to the beach, nicely done. The room was clean and spacious and parking is easy and free. Paola and Miranda were great to deal with at the front desk. Had to stay an extra night and they only charged me $99 (it was off season).Be aware you are charged $18.11 per day for a “resort fee” above the room fees and taxes. Two down sides for me was one of the front desk managers, (missed “his” name) was very patronizing when I asked a question regarding the billing, and the internet connection (although free) was VERY slow. Overall I would do it again with no apprehension.

Room Tip: Beach side of course.

“Amazing stay at Shores Resort and Spa!”

From the amazing property, to the incredibly accomodating staff, super fair room rates, incredible pool & bonfire area oceanside, to the delicious and fast room service, my stay at the Shores Resort & Spa could only be described as FANTASTIC!

We WILL be returning to stay there as soon as possible!

Had family in for Holidays and what to get someone who has everything??? My husband and I have stayed here numerous times and have always been treated very well. Booked a balcony terrace room, oceanfront balcony, and oceanview room. Front desk person, Neil, was so extremely accomodating and pleasant and Donna, who does double duty of waitstaff and bar tending was so pleasant and friendly. The rooms were all extremely clean and comfortable. The fire pit area is a great gathering spot and relaxing area to unwind. We live in the area, so are familar with amenities and can choose any hotel, especially for last minute get aways and this is the place to go.

Quite possibly the worst experience ever at a hotel in 30 years. The first room had a balcony without safety rails, and the room was terrible also. The so-called private areas are right in the middle of the pool area the photos for this place are SO VERY MISLEADING, The GM for the property was rude, insulting, and tried to move us, and then told us we had to wait because they had a problem, yes problem is no communication with anyone here, total lack of respect from the front desk people, and the so-called customer service line, and emails are a joke. This hotel is not alone it's not even out of town like it says, and is 20 years past it's prime RUN AWAY FAST...would rather stay at a Motel 6 then here.

This was our third trip to the Shores. We are business owners who close our business after Christmas and head to the Shores for the ultimate in relaxation. From the moment I got out of my vehicle and the valet said "Welcome Mrs Roberts" to the end when the bell man helped us with our luggage and said" Safe travels until you come back".... we love this place!

Room Tip: *Never stay near the roof entertainment area...we stayed our first time and a party lasted a little...
