“Nicer hotels for the same price up and down S. Atlantic .”
Made a reservation on April 4th for April 9th through 14th and was told by the attendant on the phone they were not busy so if I arrived early that would be fine, and they would go ahead and get me in my room. I arrived on April 9th at 11am after driving 13 hours and went to check in. The attendant told me no rooms were available. I had to argue with her for 10 minutes before i could get her to pull up my reservation and low and behold whomever I had spoke to before had a room cleaned and waiting. The a/c didn't work properly and maintance never showed up to fix it. The carpet was so filthy it turned you feet black,(had to wear shoes the entire stay) the frig kept your grocery items lukewarm and the faucet in the bathroom sink was broke. The windows looked like that hadn't been clean in god knows how long. There were absolutely no towels in our room and I had to go to the front desk to get the towels myself the next morning because noone showed up to bring them even after I called the front desk twice. I called the front desk everyday and requested the carpet to be vacuumed but no one came to do it untill the last night there. They charged my bank card an unauthorized charge a week after I paid the bill and never was a manager there when I called to speak to anyone about the charge. The front desk kept telling me they would give my message to a manager and I still haven't received a call. Don't waste your money and time. There are nicer hotels up and down the S. Atlantic blvd that are around the same price. This is one of the nastiest hotels I have ever seen, and the customer service was terrible.
