We checked in to celebrate our Anniversary and see the Shuttle lift off on July 13th. When we arrived we found our room to have a musty smell to it, no receptical for the coffee maker and NO internet that we needed to have and were told would have. After we brought these complaints to the front desk, the clerk told us that she would try to get a hold of the manager (from what we gathered is a difficult thing to do) to have him get us a room at the Ramada (a joint hotel, same owner and manager) for NO EXTRA Charge. After about 2 hours of waiting and getting more and more frustrated we were told that there were no rooms available at the Ramada, she could refund our money and we could find another place to stay, this is now after 5pm. It seems funny how when we went over to the Ramada to use their internet to find another place to stay we found out they DID have a room for that night and we took it. We stayed for 2 nights and ended up having to pay the extra cost of the room. I was then told that if I wanted to dispute the charges I could call this manager MIKE HILLIGOSS because he was not on the premises. Needless to say after all the frustration I ended up with a whopper of a headache and really didn't feel like celebrating our anniversary at all that night. Thanks alot MICHAEL. I will never stay at this particular location ever again after being treated like that. We got the feeling from the manager that he really didn't care about his customers and from what I heard around both hotels we were not the first to have problems with him. I will say however that the girls on the desks at both places were as nice as they could possibly be. Coodos to them for working in places like that.
