I must preface that I am on the road 12 weeks a year and stay in all sorts of hotels. Im a Gold member of Marriott and also Sheratons Club but this stay took the cake
I got into Clearwater New Years Eve. got to the hotel about 12:30a extremely tired and hungry.
Just drove in from Atlanta with New Years Eve traffic. I walked in to check in and met a young man at the desk. First, he was genuine in every way. He checked me in and I asked if there was any restaurants open in the area, he said no and room service ended at 11p. He did say that there were sandwichs and salads in the cooler. I took my stuff to the room and came back down to check out what was in the cooler. This young man (David Giaco) stopped what he was doing to see what he could put together for me and my wife. Again, I felt that this was an extremely sincere gesture. He found us fresh sandwiches, salads, drinks and just did everything in his power to make us comfortable.
The thing that struck me so different from any other encounter with any hotel chain was his attention to me and my situation. The way he did it and with the sincerity, was the best I have ever experienced anywhere at anytime. Great job David, I would love to hire you
