I was little skeptical about staying there after reading the reviews here, but my stay was pleasant, the rooms were clean, the free breakfast was very good for the price! did not see any bugs, overall a clean and nice property at excellent location.

Ask yourself a few questions prior to booking your Disney trip:
1. Are you going to the parks and spending all day out?
2. Are you going to lounge at the hotel and pool?

I stay at the baymont everytime i take a 3 day weekend to Orlando. Perfect location and speed of check in along with a UNBEATABLE COST.

Its clean. Parking is easy. Tip on breakfeast....Get up in the moring and head down prior to showering. Beat the last second travlers grabbing something before heading out. It has waffles, pastreys, coffee, cereal, jucies and is perfect for pre-park breakfeast. Any breakfeast nook or free breakfeast is a "hunter gatherer" area....but this one is spread out and long and they have microwaves and toasters to heat it up...perfect for what you need.

The rooms are clean and for the price upscale. You have a microwave and fridge and kitchenette.

Staff at front desk are very helpful and friendly.

We have stayed here aprox. 25 times over the years...we are drop the bags and hit the parks people.

If you want a "loungey" hotel look compare prices...you can stay for big $$$ to get just a little more...i have stayed at the hilton and the swan...but your paying $250 a night, parking and no breakfeast.......

I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here 1/20-1/23. Lobby gives the impression of an upscale hotel. The rooms were ok. Property could use a fresh coat of paint-especially on the exterior doors. Had no problems with requests (towels,pillows,coffee,etc..) Had one incident where towels were not replaced but was quickly resolved. Front desk staff ok. Just ignore the timeshare person in the lobby-don't think the parking pass thing is enforced because we didn't have one all weekend. Pool was ok. Look, it's not the Dolphin but it's also not $250 a night. If all you're doing is sleeping I've been in far worse places. Breakfast was a mob scene-skip it or be prepared to wait. What we had was ok-keep in mind it's FREE.

I had no problems with this hotel. I was very skeptical at first from all the recent negative reviews, but I was willing to take a chance because of it's price and proximity to the parks. It's definitely not a 5-star hotel, but that's not what we were going for. We just wanted two clean and comfortable rooms where we could sleep at nights in between our daily outings. We didn't need any fancy amenities since we were literally at the parks all day and only at the hotel at nights. The staff was friendly and helpful to us. Continental breakfast wasn't anything fancy (donuts, toast, muffins, cereal) but helped us get our day off to a good start. There is a small parking fee that you'll have to pay upon arrival (but I think most hotels in the area have something similar). We didn't find any dead cockroaches in our rooms, but we didn't go looking for them either.

So overall, if you just need a simple place to sleep at night, this place does the trick. If you need a heat pool, HD tv, omelets for breakfast, or memory foam mattresses, pay a lot more for somewhere else.
