I don't know why this hotel received bad reviews on another review site. Maybe because there were plenty of retirees. :) Hotel was clean,friendly ,comfortable bed,AC worked perfectly and brunch was great. It's not the kind of hotel you would pick out of so many other great hotels but....for one night was perfect! I bought a voucher thru living social for $99.00. Included a one night stay for 2,dinner or brunch at Carmen's roof top ocean view restaurant, a bottle of wine and free parking. The brunch was the best....buffet style. Included crab legs,oysters,mussels,salmon...etc. And, a carving station. The service was outstanding. Oh and a 5 minute walk to the beach! What more can you ask for!

This hotel was unexpectedly run down. When I arrived in my room I was surprised to see the bedsheets had huge rips in various places and couldn't believe the hotel would reuse them. The A/C worked but it was very loud, dirty, rusty and really old looking with missing pieces so I just turned it off. There were also large cracks in the wall, and the bathtub didn't seem like it was cleaned as there was this weird greenish gel or liquid residue in the tub (that I was able to remove). The floor I was on (2nd or 3rd floor, can't remember) had a nasty smell to it. It reeked of hair grease or some intense lotion like the carpet was soaked in it, so bad to where you could taste it in your mouth. My room wasn't as bad but you could still smell it. I was on business and only stayed one night or else I would have certainly moved. It's too bad because the hotel is in a great location on the water, it just really needs renovating.

Like some, I also booked this with an on-line special. My sister and I were going to a conference at the WPB Marriott and figured this hotel would work as it is about 30 minutes south of there.Check-in was a little slow because they only had one person behind the desk who was very pleasant. We got our bottle of wine and went to our room to enjoy the view and wine. Room was nice enough, a little dusty in corners. Mattress was clean and comfortable. Our room was facing the intercoastal and so nice.Actually view was gorgeous. Balconies not exactly private, as we had a nice chat with our neighbors. We had dinner at Watercolors on the waterfront downstairs which was included in our special.Food and service was good, not amazing. We had alot of catching up to do so we did not pay much attention to detail. Our waitress very accommodating.I feel that we got an amazing deal. I don't think I would want to pay full price but this hotel is worth every penny that I paid and I would love to stay here again in the future. Valet did not offer any assistance. I would really like to give this 3 and half stars.

Stayed for one night on a deal, same as last month. Already wrote a lengthy review in November. Different room, similar problem. Last time the a/c barely worked; this time it sounded like you were sleeping in a hanger by the airport. Hotel needs a major update. They continuously offer deals which don't introduce guests to a great experience. Its like having an open house before its ready to be shown. The Bridge needs to take the plunge, do a makeover, then offer deals so people can see the improvements. Until then we can't recommend this hotel.
