Indoor pool has no heat, so it's freezing cold. No free breakfast. Room was fine and quiet.

Stayed here for parents weekend because it was on the University of Delaware site. There is no refrigerator, the wi-fi is spotty, and sometimes just gone, the sink and the shower were clogged, the towels were like sand paper. Not the hotel's fault, but a future deterrent, nonetheless, is the fact that the hotel is not only 20 miles from the school, but, with traffic, it's a 40 minute drive, and expensive. Also, the air conditioner is an old fashioned loud kind that the thermostat doesn't work so if you turn it on, it keeps cooling until you are freezing.

Hotel lobby has wonderful decor, newly renovated. Trendy furniture, large screen TV, and they have a Starbucks cafe in the lobby that opens early and closes pretty late at night. Hotel staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are adequate, well kept and clean, but furniture is outdated and in need of a face lift.

It is a rare delight to travel on business and stay at a chain hotel who 'gets it' about customer service. This Courtyard worked seamlessly to provide customer delight. It was great. I tend to be jaded anymore about hotels--the customer service is usually sad, trite and rote...not so at this Courtyard. Everyone seemed to be interested in making sure I was comfortable and paid attention to me as a traveler.

A shout out to ALL the staff, but a special shout out to Michael. Thanks for treating me like a welcome guest. I will return when in the area. You made me smile.
