The owner/operators were wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful. When I called to make my reservation she made sure I knew there was no pool, telephone, or elevator and explained the rooms perfectly. The rooms are outdated, but quaint. I loved having a frig. and microwave. We stayed on the second floor where you could see the ocean but not the beach because of the roof of a pizza parlor. The shared balcony was simple with pretty potted flowers everywhere. The t.v. is small and the toilet wobbly, but I went into it knowing it wasn't going to be the hilton. It was clean and had everything you needed. It was a few steps from the boardwalk and beach and a nice location on the boardwalk. Close to the main drag. Nice that it was set back from the boardwalk because it was quieter that way. The parking was crowded, but at least you had a parking spot! The beach is very crowded and it is impossible to find a parking spot. If you're looking for an affordable beach getaway, this is a nice cozy place.

I drove up to the beach with my brother and his son without a reservation and we stumbled upon this place. It was a great deal for $100/night. We had a third story room with a great unobstructed ocean front view. The motel is right on the boardwalk. You overlook the roof of a restaurant, but the view is still incredible. Everything is within walking distance except the outlets, go-carts, water slides, movies, etc. are down the road a couple miles. This place does not have a pool, but you're at the ocean. If you do find that you need a pool, you can just hop over to one of the pools next door. If you want to save and still have a nice clean room with a great view, this is the place.

My husband and I were looking for a beach after spending a couple of days sweltering in Washington D.C., while vacationing in the East. We were told to find Rehoboth Beach. What a picture postcard town! So family oriented with beautiful clean beaches, huge boardwalks, arcades, rides, and endless shopping. Tucked in front of one of the big hotels is the Scirroco Motel. As it is literally steps to the boardwalk and the rooms are on the second and third floors, you have great views. You can see the beach and ocean from your room or from the large patio each room has. The patios are complete with tables and chairs so you can have your morning coffee there or run down on the boardwalk and pick up something to eat. The very best part are the rates which are one-half of what the larger hotels are, even in peak season. Accomodating, friendly staff, large clean rooms with wonderful views. This is a great place to spend a few days.
