We arrived late at night afer a long drive and day with family from Monte Vista. We were greeted by a kind counter attendant. We had a peaceful night. However, in the morning when my children were ready to go swimming we noticed the pool was covered by a large plastic covering. Unfortunately, the front desk was vacant. I knocked on the desk, looked around and only saw an elderly male in the hotel's laundry room. I tried very hard to get his attention to inquire about the attendant, but we were ignored. Eventually we went back to our room and called the front desk for assistance. He attendant answered and asked us to go back to the pool area. To our surprise the attendant was the elderly man we saw in the laundry. He reluctantly removed the pool's plastic cover. The kid's played, but were quickly yelled at by the attendant for being too loud. We asked for extra towels to shower after swimming, but the attendant refused initially. He asked me to bring the wet towels back first and then he would exchange them. I took the children back to the room, brought the towels back to the front desk but the attendant was again nowhere to be found. Eventually the attendant poked his head out of the back office. He refused to take the towels from me but demanded I throw them in the laundry room. By this time I was very frustrated. I again requsted the fresh towels and he gave me 2 although I had 4 children who went swimming and brought back 4 towels. I reminded him I needed 4. He called me a liar when I said I brought 4 towels back. He yelled at me saying "You don't have the right to run me ragged!!". He eventually threw 2 more towels at me. I asked him for his name to report his actions to the manager or owner and the very caucasian looking man yelled "Pedro!!" I later discovered the mean elderly man was the owner. Ugh!
