Hotel was an average Comfort Inn with the usual continental breakfast. Rooms were average, even though the bathroom door lock did not work or catch when closed. The problem I had with this hotel is that I paid in travelers checks which I do at all hotels, with a credit card given only to hold the room for late arrival. This hotel placed a prior authorization on my card for 30 days after I checked out of the hotel. Meanwhile I am using my card since I am on vacation and did not know that some of the credit line was held up as a prior authorization. I so happen to check my credit line and the credit card company tells me that some of my credit line is held up on a prior authorization from this hotel and that it would not come off for 30 days after checkout. They told me that I could call the hotel and have them call the card company to get it removed (yeah, right). By this time it had already been 21 days since my stay and I was heading home so it didn't matter now. But it is ridiculous to hold an authorization on a card 30 days after checkout when there is no damage to the room and it has been paid for. I travel through this area at least once a year and will not be staying here again for this reason.
