What a find!! Upon arrival my fiancé and I both wished we had spent more of our holiday at the Hideaway cabin than just the two nights we were booked for. The cabin we stayed in was well equipped (although instructions on how to use the microwave would have been useful!), a great size, sympathetically yet tastefully furnished and SOOOO quiet. As the owners website says having a 4x4 car is a necessity if you visit in winter - even with this we had to dig our car out of the snow one morning. Breakfasts can be taken in the main house and included fruit, which is a pleasant start to the day. I have only one complaint - we were not offered any alternative to the daily special - it would have been nice to have the option of say just cereal and toast. After a day on the slopes the option to light a wood fire and take a dip on the secluded hot tub awaited us. Together with a DVD on the TV and a meal cooked in the kitchenette this was a fantastic end to our holiday in Colorado. Would we recommend - certainly! The location of Western Skies might not suite everyone as it is a 10-15 min drive into Keystone, but to us it was just amazing to be somewhere so blissfully quiet and secluded.
