My husband and I stayed here for two nights on December 30 and 31, 2011. We chose this hotel because it accepts pets with an additional deposit. We will not stay here again if we have any other options. On the first night of our stay the heating and a/c unit made noises all night that prevented a good night's sleep. To their credit, it was fixed the next day after mentioning it to management. However, things got much worse the next night which was New Year's Eve. The hotel was hosting a New Year's Eve party for little kids in the breakfast room off the lobby. Since we were on the first floor and in the wing where the kids were staying, we were subjected to loud hallway screams, running back and forth, doors slamming, and then, noise makers as it approached midnight. This went on until 3 AM! Complaints to the desk were useless as only one hapless very young girl was on duty and clearly could not control the situation. Complaints the next morning were met by an aloof and uncaring staff.
I question the wisdom of scheduling a children's New Year's Eve party in a motel breakfast room and I question why two senior citizens were placed in the section of the hotel where the party was being riotously held.
